Can this game and its codes be played and unlocked no problem in the uk?

We had to set up a new account with US details, we used the address it was sent from zip code etc. So when we wanted to.play the game we would use this account instead of our usual one to play the game. The code just wasn't valid with our UK account. We had no.problem setting it up you just need a different email to verify. (not the same as the one you use for your UK account) hope that makes sense

The MGS1 game has a code to be entered into the PS3 for installation?  I heard this is all in French as suggested by the French language all over box?

Mine wasn't in French, but it did have English/French language on the box. To be honest, I think it only matters what country your psn is registered too. I had to make a US psn to redeem the code as it was unredeemable with a UK account

It's the US version. You need a US PSN account to activate the voucher code for MGS1 and the VR missions. You can make it for free, all you need is an email address. After that you download it and install it on the PS3, and you can play it while logged into any PSN account. The rest of the games are in the discs and can be played straight away with any PSN account.EDIT: When I say any PSN account, that also means any PS3.Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 are at Disc 2 -> Metal Gear Solid 3 Main MenuMetal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid VR Missions come with the voucher codeMetal Gear Solid 2, 3 and Peace Walker are at Disc 2Metal Gear Solid 4 is at Disc 1

How many gb in hdd space is needed for all the games?

1 If you want to buy them Digitally you going to need 32.3GB +  200-something MB patch for Metal gear solid 4  2 If you have the discs you will need to download only the  200 MB patch and METAL GEAR SOLID that is 747MB.(I hope that helps)
