I searched robotic pool cleaners online for a few weeks before buying, and this one seemed to be fairly simplistic, had good reviews, and was relatively inexpensive compared to most other robotic cleaners. We've used this all Summer in our 16' x 32' pool and it's done a great job! Instead of having to spend time vacuuming the pool, I plug in the control unit and drop this cleaner into the pool and it cleans even the smallest debris off of the pool floor and walls during a 2-hour cycle. It tends to miss some stuff where the walls meet the floor, but it does well at clearing most of the dirt and debris from the bottom of the pool. I typically have it run for a couple cycles just to make sure it cleans as much as possible. Once it finishes its cycle, I simply lift it out of the pool (it's lightweight), remove the top cover, and remove the two elastic filter bags. The filter bags have a velcro end that you can undo and turn them inside out for cleaning.... a quick spray off with the hose and their ready to go again. I can see the amount of dirt removed from the pool and kept out of our DE pool filter. Keeping that dirt out of the pool filter makes for less work (and wasted water) backwashing the filter and potentially having to take it apart to thoroughly clean if the pressure gets too high from dirt and debris clogging it. Our pool filter stays cleaner, our motor has less stress on it, and I have less work to do.... definitely worth the investment. I can't vouch for the longevity of this product considering I've only used it for one pool season, but it's been great for the few months I've had it.

This unit works better than the 2 other units I have used, a zodiac mx6 and a barracuda sweeper. Both previous units had issues getting stuck in the corner of my pool and would hang on my pool light. This one works flawlessly, is easy to clean and runs on 110 power so I save energy not having to run my pool pump as often. I have a 13x32 pool with a 8ft deep end. I run on "small pool" option. It gets bottom of pool clean. Doesn't go all the way up sides, but dirt isn't normally on the sides of the pool. I had to do a minor adjustment to the wheel tracking (pulled one of the retaining pins) in order for in to adjust the sweeping pattern. This came with easy directions, The only thing that I wasn't able to adjust is the intake of this unit. there was an illustration on how to adjust intake and it showed screws to loosen and adjust on the vacuum intake. On my machine there was only plastic rivet-like pins, so no adjustment was possible. Im not sure that I would want to reduce the size of the intake valves even if I could unless it slowed the unit down, but since there were directions on how to do this I thought it was worth mentioning The 2 year warrantee sold me on the unit.

Does great job on cleaning most debris from pools. There are some things that it won't pickup. I had work done next to my pool and mud accumulated in some parts on the bottom and this would not pick that up, I had to get that by hand. I've also had the lawn mower shoot small rocks into the pool and it will not get that either. But still this is not the norm, and it is a great aid in maintaining a clean pool. One more note: there is no instruction on putting in the fuse and cap. I did not see this in the wrapping so I did not know it was even there... and when I connected it up, it would not work. Then I went back to the box and went through it more closely and found the fuse and cap. Once I put it in, it work great.... better instructions would be nice.

I bought this Robot and it worked great for about 3 months. Then it started to flash both lights after a few minutes and stop as others here have stated. Although the warranty covers the repair (faulty pump motor)... it doesn't cover the almost $80 in roundtrip shipping I was charged ($30 from USPS there and $45 from the repair center) and also oddly despite the box saying they'd give me an RMA they would not and just wanted me to ship it to the repair center with a copy of my receipt and note of what was wrong. Works well when it works, but be ready to shell out another $100 when something goes wrong regardless of the fairly useless warranty. Has broken 2 more times since originally writing this review and Aquabot has stopped responding to emails. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

We had this product for 2 months and used it in our above ground pool once per week. We have no trees or leaves- our pool is a saline pool and stays very clean! This product stopped working and I haven't been able to get it replaced since.

it worked reasonably well but stopped working after about 9 months. Don't know if we can get warranty services/repairs as just read some bad reviews/experiences about warranty service for other Aquabot products on Amazon. This is the 2nd Aquabot robotic pool cleaner we owned (first was S2-40), both lasted about 9 months. This is our first/2nd robotic cleaner so we can't really compare with other products; S2-40 and Pura 4x seem to perform on par. We used it quite often as we live in S CA. For s2-40 we forgot about mailing out the warranty, so when it broke we threw it away and bought this one. Now waiting for a response from Customer/Warranty service for this one; contacted them online and then by email in the last 2 weeks; will try calling later if still no response. Will update if any updates.

I love the aquaBot. I have a medium to small size pool, but I still use the 2 hour cleaning cycle to clean the pool. My pool is kidney shaped and the aquaBot it able to clean the whole pool. I just scoop out the leaves from the top of the pool (I am in South Florida and the neighbors tree leaves are always in our pool) and the AquaBot takes care of the bottom of the pool and the sides of the pool. The other thing I love about it is that it is user friendly if you will. I am not the most technical person and this is so easy to use. I was able to take it out of the box, read the simple instructions and put the AquaBot to work. I love it. I use it 3-4 times a week to keep our pool nice and clean between the pool guy who treats and cleans it once a week. Thank you AquaBot and Amazon!!! KC Royal Palm Beach FL

I gotta say this cleaner rocks! I have an Intex above ground ultra frame 16x32 pool and was using an Intex brand cleaner that connects to the outlet but it didn't last very long before the filter inside failed. This cleaner however, is great it runs independent of the pump/filter system so it works in concert with it. It does a great job cleaning up the debris in just 3 hours. It even climbs up my walls and scrubs the sides! When i first got it my pool was so dirty i needed to run it a few times but now its crystal clear and going forward it appears like I only need to run it once or twice a week. Its only been a few weeks so I will come back here if anything changes.
