Fender Strap Blocks
Works Fantastically, simple and effective!

Simple, cheap and easy but effective.
These things are great, doesn't take a lot of effort to put on in my opinion but they are quite strong. My guitar strap is now much more secure than it was and should last longer too. The best part about them is, no modifying of your guitar or strap is required! Totally recommended, especially if you have an expensive strap and want it to last longer, or, want to improve the security of your strap without any real effort. Every guitar with standard strap buttons should have these. I'd have prefered two pairs of black rather than black and red though, not sure why Fender decided to do that. Fitted fine over standard electric guitar buttons and also a through-jack style button on my daughters electro-acoustic. Also fitted onto oversized Jackson strap buttons, which takes a bit more effort to get on and off, but I suppose that just makes them more secure.

Simple, durable, effective
These strap blocks from Fender are a great cheap option to add security to your guitar strap. You get 2 sets of blocks i the pack, one red and one black. I put one set on my Squire Stratocaster over an Earnie Ball guitar strap. They are a little tough to initially get on and the guitar strap button has just enough height to accommodate both the strap and the block but this all adds to the security and the feeling of security. Once they are in, it is quite difficult to spin the end of your strap around on the button. I guess this can be seen as both a positive and a negative. The blocks themselves feel like they are made of a very high quality and durable material I would still say normal strap locks will be stronger if you want to spend the extra money, but these blocks do a great job and mean you can switch guitar straps easier if you wish to do so, unlike strap locks.

dose the job
My guitar start kept falling off at all the wrong moments and started becoming afustration, I did not want to replace the strap as it still has a lot of wear left, these have recommended the issue completely they fit nice and tight which secure the strap nicely in place it takes a little effort to push them on but is simple enough anyone can do it and taking them off is a breeze , they feel a good quality made of strong rubber-like material so I'm expecting them to last for a while so far they have withstood a lot of punishment, really happy definitely recommend

A simple, budget-friendly solution that works well
IN A NUTSHELL: Yes, get them. They're a simple, unobtrusive and very cost-effective way of stopping your strap parting company. In fact, unless you're regularly thrashing around on stage with a guitar that cost a four-figure sum, you probably won't ever need any other strap locking device. IN DETAIL: Strap Locks are an important item for a guitarist/bassist to consider (essential in the case of those that actively gig), yet the choice is far from clear. Several options exist for mechanisms that replace the instrument's standard strap button, but consensus on which is the most effective and worth investing in does not. For some time now, some players have spoken of the little rubber washers found on large Grolsch bottles as a cheap-but-effective alternative. Apparently Fender knew of it, too, since they've now made their own versions specifically for 'blocking' instrument straps. I've seen some people say that these Fender ones are a rip-off, since you can get a similar thing 'free' from a couple of large Grolsch bottles. I like beer as much as the next guy, but if you can get two big bottles for ยฃ2.99, then you live next to the world's best off-license. For most people, these Fender ones will set you back less when all is said and done. Moreover, you get four to a pack so we're actually talking four bottles-worth here. Big question then; do they work? Yes, absolutely. It takes a bit of effort to fit them on, which is good - it indicates the kind of force necessary for them to come off again. Note that they're called strap BLOCKS rather than LOCKS - this isn't a device that can outright lock your strap against the instrument. Rather, what it does is add a lot of resistance to any movement of the strap off the button. If, like me, you're still at the stage of jamming on your room with a budget instrument then I can confidently tell you that these strap blocks, for an outlay of three pounds, will be all you need; they'll prevent the strap popping off at one end. If you were a regularly gigging musician with a more expensive axe to protect...? That's partly a personal judgement as to what you feel secure with. But these would certainly serve as a stop-gap until you settled on a locking device, at the very least. Being very unobtrusive (well, the black ones at least)they'd also be a good choice for those who don't want the aesthetic clutter of a strap lock extending off their instrument. All-in-all, I think Fender have made a valuable addition to the guitar-care market with these and, for the price, they're worth adding to everyone's gig bag.

Excellent Strap Locks.
I bought three packs of these to use on my six electric guitars having seen good reviews on Amazon. I can honestly say that the reviews are correct. For such a simple product, the results are amazing. No more dropped guitars due to the strap coming loose and simple to apply (does require some firm stretching of the flexible locks to get them on). I would now never be without them and would suggest anyone who hasn't got them to give them a try. An essential purchase for all guitarists.

Great looking and very effective!
I use these on all of my guitars. Especially my vintage Rickenbacker where the lugs and strap have an annoying tendency to slip. They also look great against the contrast of the body, the red coloured ones are my favourite. I'll likely be buying more soon.

Tricky to install but work
Was looking to invest in a strap lock system for my Les Paul, then saw a YouTuber recommend these along with a picture of lots of famous guitar players clearly using them live on stage. They are tough to get on initially, but thatโs reassuring as the idea is they donโt come off! Also some strap lock systems require drilling holes out on your guitar so Iโd say itโs still easier/better than that. Really effective, cheap solution. Only thing you canโt do is remove the strap on a regular basis but thatโs fine for me.

Alternative use
Jam one of these guys under your volume pot to stop accidentally turning it whilst playing. You can still turn it but with slightly more force required.

Great gadgets! Work like a charm!
I had a strap that slipped off the peg of my guitar at the least convenient times. These little devices cure that without the need for metal "strap locks" which can scratch the finish on a guitar. Perfect solution to the problem.
