Yes a charger is enclosed with the battery, in fact it is a nice neat small charger and dosen,t take up much room,

What is the full charge- up time from empty?

To my surprise the charger included is pretty slow, it works at 0.4Ah. Theoretically a 2Ah battery would take 5h to charge from zero. Although lithium batteries never discharge completely (they would die), so it will take less than that. You can expect 3h to 4h to fully recharge an empty 2Ah battery. Hope it helps.

is the head adjustable

You can rotate it through 90 degrees so that it can be easily used vertically to trim edges of lawns or horizontally to cut grass/weeds etc up to a vertical surface like a wall. It is very easy to to do with the locking mechanism just below the handle area. Generally I have to say that I have found this to be a great garden tool - one of the best buys I have ever made.
