These bungees work great and are cheap. Useful in a variety of applications. I used mine to secure a banner flag across my balcony and they did the job perfectly. You get quite a few for the price. Easily recommend.

Can one have too many tarp bungees? Well, I can say that even if you have ZERO tarps to tie down, you’ll still find a myriad uses for these! You know all those times where you want to bind something in elastic, but don’t want to deal with creating a knot each time to secure it? Enter the tarp tie-down! Easy to secure & undo, for when you want some flexibility in the hold, and don’t need it to be tight or constrictive. Basically, if you have these in your household, I bet you’ll find these bungees to be the solution in numerous situations. Highly recommend these high-quality tie-downs—and I like the black & white color combo for more visual interest.

Originally bought these a couple of years ago to secure items that do not pack well into a moving truck (e.g. garden tools with long handles). Wow, nothing beats these for that. Stack a few shovels together and stretch one bungee ball around each handle end (down by the metal and up where you hold it). Like a tight package, nothing scrambles and you can grab a bundle of tools with one hand. Works best for the same tool (separate bundles of rakes, shovels, etc.) Even if you have a box that can hold those long tools, the bundle is much better than a tangled mess of wandering garden rakes. It's not the rake's fault - it's just doing what it's supposed to do... I also secured just about anything that was long and likely to cause packing problems, like curtain rods. And the longer bungee balls were great to strap the long bundles to the moving van wall rails. How much do they stretch? 50% more without looking too stressed out. I stretched some quite a bit more, although getting those unhooked was tedious and a little dangerous because they can fly off into your hands, or your face, or onto your roof if you are outside (that only gets dangerous when you have to go get it.) So the move was done and I had all these things in a box. So you go looking for anything that needs to be secured. I used them all in a few days, like many other reviews have said. Best is for tool power cords: make a half dozen small coils with the power cord, wrap it with the bungee and wrap it through the tool handle. No tangled mess with cords, safe transport to and from jobs also. Second best is long extension cords: coil the power cord to whatever loop size you want and wrap a bungee ball around all the coils. Hang the cord or just toss it anywhere - it'll stay coiled. Third best is keeping anything where you want it : keeping a door open on a windy day, stabilizing a stack napkins on a picnic table, wrangling a pile of white board markers for travel. After two years of knocking these about, not one has failed or shows any wear. Much better than any other stretchy product I've used.

This is a really nice product but I saw a YouTube video and other videos saying get the longest ones and slip the knot through the ball and trim and tie cord if you want to make them shorter. Good luck with that. Took me awhile just to get one end out of the ball with the end of a chopstick. They double the cord over and staple the ends. Each end individually. If you want shorter ones buy them. Wish they came in a variety pack. The ball is bigger than I would have thought. Okay on the long ones I guess but the smaller ones would be nice with a smaller ball for certain applications.

I had never tried these "ball" bungee cords before so I didn't know what to expect; however they turned out great, just what I needed. I gave 5 stars for versatility because they are very versatile for the different ways you can use them. 5 stars for sturdiness; we've had a rash of high winds in my area recently and they held up just fine. 5 stars for durability, but this is something that time will determine; but for now, I'm giving them a five, as well as an overall 5. As you can see from the pictures, I used them to hang a tarp. I got these because my original tarp went all the way across, which didn't allow full sunshine to show on the strip of "flower bed" I have that's next to my driveway. Everything I planted there wouldn't fully grow; it was as if it's growth was stunted by the lack of sunshine. Decided to get a smaller tarp and use these bungee cords to attach it to the roof, leaving the "blank" space so the sun could shine through. As you can see it's worked out GREAT! The 1st picture is before I had all the cords up so there's slack in the tarp. The 2nd is job done.

these are used to secure any and all kinds of things to shelves and walls and floors and onto one another in my trailer. Nothing moves. It holds down a microwave on a shelf for instance. That thing hasn't moved at all in thousands of miles.

Like the fact that they can be linked together into chain to allow for longer stretching

We are very pleased with this product. We purchased these bungees to secure tarping during the winter. Not only are they easy to use and well made but they are durable. The bungees did their job and kept the tarp in place over the winter. Furthermore, they came through the winter - they were used outdoors and so endured sun, snow, rain and wind - without any damage and we have been able to reuse them for a second winter. We do recommend this product.
