An excellent remake . what a great game this time as a d it was shipped perfectly

Resident Evil 4 on PS5 is everything I wanted and more. The game looks incredible, runs super smoothly, and the overall experience feels modern while still keeping the heart of what made RE4 iconic. The atmosphere is tense, the combat is satisfying, and the pacing is so good that it’s hard to put down. On PS5, the visuals and lighting are gorgeous, and the controls feel tight and responsive—especially during the more hectic fights. The remake balances horror and action perfectly, and the upgrades/weapon management keep the gameplay addicting. The sound design is also excellent (headphones make it even more intense). The story and characters are still great, but everything feels more immersive and refined. Whether you’re new to the series or you played the original, this is a top-tier Resident Evil title. If you’re on the fence: get it. One of the best games on PS5.

After finishing my 1st RE game ( RE Requiem) recently I was hungry for some another horror game. I chose RE4 Remade as my follow up. This is one amazing game. It has tons of 3rd person action, jumps galore, easily solvable puzzles and multi layered maps. The graphics are absolutely fantastic as is the sound. Highly recommended game!

This is probably one of my favorite resident evil games of all time. The game played absolutely perfectly as it always has.!

Resident Evil 4 Remake lived up to the hype I had for it, I was blown away by all of the story improvements done over the original with Ashley Graham and Luis Sera for instance. They had better character development than in the original while having more compelling personalities. The RE Engine gameplay fit RE4 pretty well and expanded on the OG's gameplay amazingly by increasing the aggression of the enemies to match Leon's improved movedset. Areas that were originally linear pathways were given a more explorable approach, feeling more akin to the gameplay of classic REs. The weapon selection was improved along with the Merchant now giving leon more side-tasks to do beyond the original 15 medallions mission in OG RE4. The first Krauser fight was reworked into an actual boss fight versus a QTE memory game. The main flaws of the game were Ada Wong's character direction in the Remake, the actress didn't seem to give it her all like with the other cast members. Either that or the director had odd ideas about Ada's portrayal. They cutout a couple areas in the game including a boss fight in order to save for later, which is annoying. Lastly, the bonus modes such as Mercenaries and Separate Ways weren't available at launch. While Separate Ways wasn't in the first launch of OG RE4 too, Mercenaries plus Assignment Ada were however. Mercs is in the game now via update, but it still doesn't have 2 characters that were in the original. There's also the fact Micro Transactions are included in the game, which hurts the score a bit. Overall, despite the flaws; it's still an excellent Remake that in my opinion matches the original in excellence. Just now it's more serious in many ways and overall has now an Action-Survival Horror vibe instead of being Action Horror. Fans of the silly action in the original RE4 will not like the more serious way, but the fans of RE being more horror-focus will more likely love this. I see it as a new, alternative way to play Resident Evil 4. and it perhaps will be my favorite way to play RE4 for years to come.

The updated story elements and character interactions provide more depth while respecting the legacy of the original game. Whether you're a long-time fan of the series or a newcomer, this version of Resident Evil 4 is a must-play. It’s terrifying, thrilling, and endlessly engaging. The replay value is off the charts with various difficulty modes, side missions, and collectibles to uncover. It’s an absolute masterpiece and a showcase of what next-gen gaming can deliver!

One of the best resident evil

Delivered next day and was cosy on the couch that night. Arrived in perfect condition and installed quickly. This remake keeps enough of the original (which is already a fantastic game) and adds enough to modernize the experience. The graphics are beautiful, sound is top notch, and the game has enough scares and action to keep fans happy. Highly recommend
