Does this heated curler come with a gas cartridge

Just bought one - it does not contain a gas cylinder - even though the packaging displays warnings that it does. The product description doesn’t mention gas cylinder

How do I remove the brush from the tongs ?

Opposite the start button on the other side is a part that looks like a thumb rest, if you look closely there is a 'question mark' piece cut out above it. Just push very hard on the 'thumb rest' and this 'question mark ' lifts up and then the brush is released................. Hope this helps....
