Rolson 24779 16 pc File Set with Pouch

This set of files are great for modellers undertaking fine or small scale works. They are excellent in the worlds of model trains, boats, cars etc. including jewellery making. The are good performers providing you take your time with them and do not press hard on them; just go at a steady pace and take your time. The outcome will be perfect for you. When they eventually wear out you will certainly miss them big time, so my suggestion is that you buy a few sets and squirrel some away for a future date in case you cannot get them anymore.

Bought on Amazon 12 years ago. I don't use these files a lot, but when I do, they are all there together in their handy and durable case. There is a good variety of file shapes and sizes, so whenever I turn to these files I find just the thing for the job. They work well, they last well, an excellent addition to the tool cupboards. If I lost them I would have to buy the same again without a doubt.

It's about time I invested in a new set of metal files having always made do with odd stuff I'd just picked up over the decades. I find the smaller files in the set to be a most useful size as I've always soldiered on with ones that were too big for the task and got poor results as a consequence. Some reviewers who have denounced this set as not being as good as 'such and such' and 'so and so' must be a tad off the beat. For a set of files at this price you don't expect the fruit from the top of the tree. You, maybe, want something that'll help do the job for you and then get put away for another occasion, maybe weeks.... months.... or even years later in the humble domestic environments that the rest of us live in. These are definitely of a good enough quality to cover those tasks without any crisis for the laid-back D.I.Y.er that has no interest in the peculiarly alien realm of toolbox snobbery. Having stated that, the pouch that the files come in may only be for initial presentation purposes and you would be better chucking them into a more durable container as the abrasiveness of the files will soon see the pouch off Eamonn

I was desperately trying to find a file set that came with a case. I can't be the only person who doesn't want all their other tools (and hands) to be scratched to pieces?! But unfortunately, most companies seem to do files on their own and you're left with either incredibly cheap or incredibly expensive ones if you want them in a case. I was going to buy the Draper ones, but I saw in the reviews that someone had suggested that these were exactly the same price but quite a bit cheaper and I'm pretty sure that they are the same too. Anyway, I bought these and so far so good. They're comfortable to hold and did the job well, which was to file a hole in my shed to make it a bit bigger so I could fit a grommet in it. You're not getting insane quality, but I think if you're like me and just want it for jobs round the home without breaking the bank, then I think you'll be happy with these.

2 files came with segments of surface rust when I opened it. Other than that it’s a decent kit

La custodia rigida è sicuramente un valore aggiunto che rende le lime sempre a portata di mano e, soprattutto, archiviabili e spostabili in maniera molto pratica. Per quel che riguarda le lime, ce ne è per tutti i gusti e di tutte le forse/misure. La qualità delle zigrinature è buona ed il grip ottimo. Non so ancora quanto dureranno, spero tanto! Nulla a che vedere comunque con il pacchetto di lime da 10 euro del supermercato! Questa mia recensione è assolutamente autentica, rispecchia, nel bene o nel male, il mio personale giudizio sul prodotto e la mia esperienza d'uso con lo stesso. Il prodotto in oggetto è stato da me personalmente acquistato pagando l'intero importo, non sono stati utilizzati buoni o sconti e non ho ricevuto alcuno demo o omaggio dal produttore.

Colección de limas de calidad media baja, las grandes NO son ESCOFINAS porque son de grano medio, pero son útiles sobre todo para trabajos en bricolaje de madera, marquetería, maquetas... No las veo para metal ni para trabajos intensivos., pero por 20€ no puedes pedir aleaciones caras.
