Does the job
Works decently well. I love the packaging as it all looks very formal. No smell and decent coverage, doesn't leave a colour. Fits good to waterproof sh poo especially, not sure about durability though. Seems like you'll need to reapply.

Expensive for the volume but seemed to work.
I haven't used an item like this before. I followed the instructions when applying. (It needs to be brushed in) I applied to running trainers after a wash cycle and dried fully My running trainers have a lot of mesh fabrics on them in layers as well as other typical materials. (Not a lot of high absorbing surface area though) When applying this product it asks you to do several applications or coats to achieve the full effect. So by the time I'd done x3 coats on x1 pair of trainers the bottle was around 85% used. So considering this is only a one time coat its very expensive process, albeit fairly quick with approx 10 mintues between coats. As with spray bottles it's awkward to tilt and spray for dynamic application, a tad annoying if you prepared an area prior only to realize you need to move the shoe not the bottle. Not good for cumbersome items and harder to reach areas I tested under a light dribble under the tap and it seemed to show good signs of water resistant effect. I went out in rain and didn't notice any issues. It looked to cling to all contactable materials too. Id like to say this was successful, however I cant speak of the coatings longevity. The instructions do say it will fade so this is a maintenance product! This is why cost is so important. On Expensive items I see the point, but I don't think I want to invest in this over and over for my application items. Using natural only chemicals also makes me feel better when over spray becomes inevitable. Overall its worth seems to be a slither of peace of mind when you need an added bit of water protection. Hope this helps.

Long-lasting protection & good protection.
This is the only waterproofing spray I’ve found that actually lasts for a reasonable amount of time, and offers good protection. Since it uses a pump action nozzle instead of an aerosol, the coverage is much better and the bottle lasts longer due to less waste. Highly recommend!

Not Welsh Rain Proof!
Let's face it, when the Goretex membrane fails on your boots (and it will, sooner than you think), you have three options. Buy some new boots, only walk in dry weather or try a proofer. I'd tried a couple of alternatives after my Salomon fabric boots decided to start letting in water - none very effective or long lasting. I stumbled on this stuff and decided to give it a whirl. Application can best be described as messy. The trigger spray isn't the best and it is quite difficult to work the solution into clean, dry fabric boots. I do wonder if it would work better if the boots were slightly damp? Anyway after three coats, I took the boots for a little outing on the Wales Coast Path. Now to be fair, on the day in question, the rain was coming down in stair rods but the waterproofing (if you can call it that) failed almost instantly and I was left with wet socks for the remainder of a the walk. So on the basis of that test alone, I really can't recommend this stuff at all. A stroll through some dewy grass or the odd shallow puddle you might get away with, but in a serious wet weather challenge this was a spectacular fail. At this price point (for that, read expensive) I both hoped for and expected far better results - what a let down.

Seems good
Used on one pair so far, seems good but only time will tell if it keeps the trainers clean long term.

Best waterproofer Ever. I saw this on a content creators site ( it was not an add) and I bought it, I’m on my second order now. Does a great job! The content creator even srayed it on a collar lining to keep her makeup from staining. I have not tried that but will when I start wearing make up again post Covid!
