Works in simple recipes
For the last few days, I've been adding this to my pancake mix to see how it works. On the first try, I used more than needed, so the sweetness was a bit strong. The next time, I reduced the amount and it came out much better. Now I only add a small pinch to the batter. It blends in smoothly and the texture of the pancakes stays the same. There wasn't any odd aftertaste, and my family didn't notice a difference. It's been helpful for cutting back on regular sugar while still enjoying homemade breakfast.

Pure, organic, non-clumping, and delicious!
I absolutely love the texture of this particular monk fruit, since it does not clump. Also, it was a necessity that it be organic. Another necessity was that it be a pure monk fruit, and not include any alcohol based sugars. This brand meets all of those criteria, and tastes fantastic. I chose monk fruit because I do not want to eat, refined sugar anymore, and I wanted a completely sugar-free option as an alternative to maple syrup. It seems to be low histamine. I put it in pretty much everything: smoothies, tea, soups, and stews, almond butter, and desserts.

Great product. Small bag, but a little goes a long way. 1/4 teaspoon sweetens coffee/tea perfectly. No extra additives. Slight after taste, but easy to get used to for a healthy alternative and zero calories! Definitely worth the price. I transferred it to a glass jar with lid. Works well.

Nice for homemade protein balls
Lately, I’ve been trying to prepare more homemade snacks instead of buying packaged ones all the time, especially for busy workdays when I just need something quick between meals. One thing I started making regularly is homemade protein balls with oats, peanut butter, seeds, and protein powder. I decided to try this product in the recipe, and honestly it worked out much better than I expected. Since the powder is concentrated, I only need a small amount to get the sweetness right. At first, I added too much because I treated it like regular sugar, but after making the recipe a couple of times, it became very easy to adjust. The sweetness feels smoother and lighter, and it doesn’t overpower the rest of the ingredients. I also noticed that it blends in evenly without leaving a grainy texture behind. Another thing I appreciate is how versatile it is. Sometimes I use it in smoothies or coffee during the day, and other times it goes directly into snack recipes like these protein balls. It saves me from keeping multiple sweeteners in the kitchen, which makes meal prep feel more organized and simple. Having this sweetener around has made that habit easier to maintain because I can make snacks that still taste good without relying so heavily on regular sugar.

Unappealing aftertaste and difficult to use.
We go Ketogenic diet, whenever we need to lose a few pounds. Due to various questions about certain non-nutritive sweeteners, such as erythritol, and the somewhat limited info about allulose, we decided to try monk fruit extract alone. We had bought some monk fruit-sweetened animal crackers on Amazon and these were quite tasty. Well, the commercial producers must have some trick we're not using, because monk fruit both in coffee we brewed and in ice cream we made was a disaster. There is an aftertaste that is a cross between metallic and bitter and it overwhelms whatever sweetening benefit the extract provided. Also, whereas there are 1:1 ratio sweeteners where you have volume (similar to granulated sugar), there is no volume here. Trying to add gelatin or fiber to create volume in baked goods was a nightmare. And the aftertaste remained: the final nail in the coffin. Perhaps this was a bad batch or there is come genetic predisposition our family has NOT to tolerate this product, but friends we had over were honest enough to say it was unappealing to them, as well, noticing the same aftertaste. We threw out the coffee and the ice cream. A cookie recipe, two days before, also was a huge fail. I won't say the aftertaste is as awful as that in old-style saccharin products, but it's very close. Disappointing purchase boasting bad flavor and limited usefulness.

Good, but pricey.
Initially, I was going to give this product one star because of the amount you get for the price and because it doesn't mix or dissolve quickly. However, after tasting how sweet it is and that you only need 1/8 or even 1/16 of a tsp per serving I decided to give it four stars. For those suffering from IBS and IC, this is the one sweetner that's acceptable to use. Allulose is also acceptable to use, but use caution. Monk Fruit has been in use for years. I recommend this product. It would be nice if they dropped that price from $30 for 5 oz to $20.😊

Very Sweet
Excellent non-sugar sweetener, I use it mostly for my coffee and I really like the taste of it. You only need to use a tiny amount. I have used several Monk Fruit Extract sweeteners and like this one the best. Does not raise my blood sugar at all.

Incredible value despite what seems to be a small amount!
5 oz lasts an incredibly long time when 1/8 of a teaspoon is more than sweet enough for a 16 oz drink. There is a slightly bitter aftertaste to monk fruit extract, but that’s not the seller or manufacturer’s fault. As one of the few sweeteners one can use during a carb-free dietary restriction that doesn’t cause an insulin reaction, it has been a godsend.

Very good sweetener Seems authentic, I tested it with CGM and it didn’t cause any issues

cheap compared to size
you think it's expensive for 5 oz, but it's not because you only need less than a quarter of teaspoon for each drink.
