Impressed
I'm quite impressed with this remote for the price. I'm using it with a 2012 Mac Mini that is running Ubuntu Linux, Kodi and Retroarch. The Mac is configured to sleep and to be woken by a USB device, so the remote can sleep and wake. The Mac boots into Kodi and the arrow/ok mode works perfectly to navigate the menu. If I want to exit Kodi and switch to the desktop/Retroarch I can switch to mouse mode and do so easily. I find the mouse movement intuitive, similar to a wii mote, but it does have a different feel to a mouse or touchpad. The unit is intuitive in that it disabled the keyboard or arrow button according to the way the remote is held (flip it to keyboard up, the arrows disable and the keyboard enables, flip it the other way and the keyboard disables). I can't really comment on battery life, as we've not flattened a set yet. One thing I've found a little annoying is that the return arrow seems to work differently if the air mouse is enabled or not - in one mode the back arrow is used, in the other it's the delete key, which isn't as well placed. It's minor and may be related to my config - I can definitely live with it. All in all, I am pleasantly surprised by how well this works and it deserves 5 stars because of value for money.

Air-mazing
I love this! I use my MacBook as a PC/Smart TV so being able to use the mouse from anywhere in the room without the struggling to get my wireless mouse to work on the bed covers. The keyboard on the reverse side is another huge bonus, being able to search on Netflix or Kodi just by flipping the remote over, incredible! As well as being able to put away my wireless keyboard and mouse, Iโve also put the TV remote in a draw since the IR learning buttons mean I can control the TV just enough with the 5 buttons, I set them to on/off, source, OK, and the volume buttons. So a lot of space saved and super convenient, not to mention easy to use and very responsive (you may want to adjust your mouse sensitivity in settings, and you have to turn the mouse function off and on sometimes to re-calibrate but that hasnโt bothered me at all).

Cheap but perfectly functional, and importantly doesn't feel like it's about to fall apart!
There are any number of these kind of 'airmouse' come 'QWERTY keyboard' come 'TV remote' hybrids for sale on Amazon. However, when you start looking you find that despite the myriad of brands there are only actually three or four different models. I chose this particular model as it had the best combo of review ratings and cost, and then found the cheapest Amazon vendor. It's certainly solid enough, and doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart any time soon. A good sign of the build quality can be found in the battery compartment cover that fits with a decent click and stays shut. If you are giving as a gift, ignore the earlier review that says it comes in bubblewrap - mine arrived in full retail packaging. You'll need a spare USB port to stick the 2.4Ghz wireless receiver in, but once you've done that it just starts working pretty much as expected. As long as you don't expect too much; this isn't a smart home smart remote costing ยฃ100, it's a cheapo air-remote costing a tenth of that. Remember this and you are unlikely to be too disappointed! The backlighting is good and bright, and crucially it is switched by a button on the front of the remote and switches itself off after a few seconds to save on battery life. It also auto-switches from front to back when you flip the remote to use the keyboard. Nice for the price, but shame the keyboard lighting doesn't reach the non-alphanumeric keys. The IR learning function is a bit hit and miss, but it does work after a fashion. Don't expect it to map everything from your standard remote, but the main functionality will be fine. If you have a function that isn't mapped by a button on the remote, or want to power on more than one device, then the four colour buttons at the base can be programmed to do most anything you fancy. The air-mouse works OK, a bit jumpy across my big screen but more than adequate for most purposes. Overall I'm pleased enough, and can't complain for something this well put together and this functional for less than a tenner on next day delivery via Prime. Not quite a five star purchase, but a good one all the same.

Perfect for Kodi
I have an old 2014 Max mini set up connected to my TV running Kodi for streaming and films ect, I bough this remote to control it and I must say it works excellent for what I intended, the air mouse is decent (as good as they get, more than usable) the keyboard on the back is really handy and the controls and illumination is good. I highly recommend this.

USB receiver stopped working after a year.
Worked fine for a year but then the USB receiver stopped working so it doesnโt control the Android Box anymore. Still able to control the tv itself but I needed it for the Android Box. Not worth the money.

quick pairing airmouse
Easy to use air mouse, pairing is no problem, functions keys and qwerty keypad works very well. The only problem is when trying to scroll on a certain page in the web it immediately goes to the bottom of the web page despite some adjustments as per manual. No chance of viewing the whole web page content as shown in the video above. The remote casing is not smooth, there are rough sides. Cut hazard. The mouse is still nice though, reaction time is quick or you can say very quick. And the package arrived 3days earlier. Thanks to prime. I will rate it as 3stars still.

Get the best out of your Android box.
A fantastic remote. Easy to set up and use and works very well with my Android box. Makes scrolling of screens so much easier and the motion sensor works exceedingly well. Great value for money.

The World of Tomorrow, Today!
There is a definite geek factor to this. It works really well. It is harder to use than a mouse, but that could be in part due to lack of familiarity. The keyboard works perfectly! I have not set up the IR to switch off the TV yet, but that looks useful. I am using it with a laptop connected to the TV to watch Netflix, Amazon, and Eleven Sports. The laptop runs Manjaro Linux. Amazing price. Great product.
