I am absolutely loving this little speaker that packs a real punch in the sound quality. I purchased this on a whim, as my laptop speakers I found just wasn't giving me the required volume, sometimes the quality was ok and at other times I found myself struggling to hear and resorted to subtitles, which admittedly I seem to be relying on more often, (but could also be down to age)This was a doddle to set up and pair with my laptop and once fully charged it was good to go, and is easy to use, and what a surprise, my Zoom meetings are so much better to listen to, and just watching a movie or Youtube video is so much more enjoyable, and rewarding, the only difference is you might not get that stereo sound effect from having speakers coming from either side of your equipment, but you will get used to it, I also feel that it carries some bass, if they could somehow incorporate an equalizer that you could control on your device that would be something else.The battery once charged lasted much longer than I expected and it turns itself off if it has not been used for 10 minutes, so that is also a plus, I would definitely recommend this item, and I hope that it last me a long time....

Wow truly the best bargin speaker for 20 quid ever. Its a no brainer. Made in japan as well. I work 8 hours a day and try to keep it on highest volume and it seems to never touch the battery level and thats the best feature and nice sounds. But only bad thing is this anker that i wish i had anker soundcore 2 because when u have multiple speaker with the anker app you link lots of speakers together and that was the main reason why i brought the anker 4 but hey i found a solution. Bluetooth range is very good as well. I hope everyone looks at this review and i hope it helps people getting done over by buying some garbage they sell on the market.

I first bought this in 2018. Loved it, use it almost every day. Recently saw it on sale for £18.99 (probably less than I paid originally) and thought I'd get a second one as a backup, as one day my beloved speaker will break. It's still pretty good, but sound is not as rich as my older model (it's such a small, small difference but I use it every day and tend to listen to the same songs over and over, so I can hear it). I'm sure the battery life etc is better and will give it a chance. It's still damn good value for money (even though the upgraded model still uses micro USB for some reason), which you no longer get with their earphones (you have to pay about £70 to get the same audio quality you used to be able to get fot £20 or £30 with the ones, although they did have a cable in between the buds. Avoid their cheapest earbuds, no depth to sounds at all). Still a good choice for a Bluetooth speaker. Nowhere near as tinny/thin as other budget/cheap speakers. I do have a slightly better sounding speaker but it was 4x the price (mostly paid for the novelty screen - Ditoo Pro mini retro PC speaker). Still better than the Motion B I bought but never use. Still rate Anker for my powerbank and chargers/cables though. No regrets, like I didn't have 7 years ago!

We were recommended this speaker from a friend who has one and so pleased we decided to get it. It’s compact but the sound is amazing and can pack a punch. It’s easy to set up and for us the outer case is rubber, which is great as we are using it in our camper van. So any who is looking for a great quality compact easy to use speaker in the home or when out and about get this one as I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Amazing product for the price!I’ve had this speaker since 2nd April been using it daily since buying and it’s the 23rd may and it’s only just ran out of charge! The sound quality is very good nice tinny or distorted at all. It’s loud enough to cover the office or the workshop at work which is fairly large space. I really don’t think I’ll be buying anything under £100 again as this speaker gives other speakers in the £15-£100 range a run for its money! Highly recommend this speaker to anyone what ever your use!

Having had a previous model of these for about 3 years which worked superbly , I’m only buying this updated one as I can’t find the first after loads of building workI can’t recommend them highly enough , particularly the sound quality in relation to price . Do it , you’ll thank me

A very good Bluetooth speaker.The finish is pretty good . and the shape is sensible .The boxy shape means that won't roll away in a hurry, andit looks sleek and modernSound wise it has good detail to it with solid bass- a nice balance.I guess that being small and inexpensive, it won't give high endspeakers sleepless nights, but that's not what this is about.However, it really shows how far the quality of these littlegadgets has come in the last few years.By any standards the sound is incredible for the moneyIt's also nicely compact and unobtrusive to look at.Overall a solid 10/10.
