If you smell the product in a bottle it is very concentrated and almost artificial. But after putting a small drop on a paper I got a nice vanilla scent. The best way to describe the scent is "vanilla extract you use for baking". I have purchased this to add to solid shampoos and soaps but haven't used it yet so cannot comment on performance & longevity. But the scent stayed quite strong for 5+ hours on a paper.

I've revised my previous review as at first I thought this a very fake smell and nothing like real vanilla. however i was wrong - it smells lovely when heated in a candle burner so now I would recommend it and also i think its good value too

This is a great product and great value for money. The scent is beautiful and long-lasting. I have purchased many of these oils and will be doing so in the future.

I bought this to use as I make my own massage bars however the vanilla scent wasnt really strong and hard to smell once in the product

Smells like fake vanilla - kind of sweet and cloying but if you are used to that in products or if it's what you are going for, this will do the trick.

Nice smell through home. Kills cooking smells.

Received this, its a very strong smell but i think i used a bit too much in my diffuser, i put 5 drops in, i think 3 would be sufficient and give a ore subtle smell, i love Vanilla and this is good, nice smell and it has a hole in the top so you can add the amount of drops require, I would recommend this as it wasn't too expensive.
