SureFlap Pet Door Tunnel Extender, Brown

A good value for money microchip cat flap. I have two cats attached and it works perfectly for them. Easy to install in a solid door and quiet when working.

I bought this cat flap as the local unneutered tom was coming through the normal cat flap and terrorising my cat, eating his food and then spraying urine everywhere to mark his territory. He even sprayed up the radio and also at the back of my hob. That was the final straw so I went on line and found this cat flap and I can honestly say it is brilliant! It's easy to install and it takes a couple of seconds for it to read your cat's microchip. I have no more worries about another cat coming in now and my cat is a lot more chilled. It does seem a little pricey but it really is worth it for the peace of mind and not having to get up every morning and start looking and sniffing for cat urine!!!

I bit expensive for what they are, but they do the job well. They fit together snugly to create a nice tidy tunnel. The cats love it and it's easy to keep clean. I'm only giving them four stars because 7 quid each is pretty dear for a piece of plastic!

I have 2 small girls who were completely intimidated by a large grey tom cat who came in whilst I was at work and eat all their food and slept in their bed and they were cringing upstairs! My son told me of this cat flap which I bought ASAP. I needed the tunnel extension as it is fitted in the outside wall of my porch. My only complaint is that with the extension you actually cannot buy screws that are narrow and long enough to fit the front and back portions together. For an extra couple of quid couldn't you include longer screws? And what you are supposed to do if you need more than one extender I do not know. We ended up sticking the inside portion on with silicone in the end.

Make sure you get the correct size for your cat flap. I bought this as it was recommended so thought it would fit but it was too big. I also realised I'd need around 5 of these to finish the job. I returned it and made my own. Used the middle section of a small swing-top bin, had to cut it to size a bit but it does the job, it also allowed me to have better run off for rain as the outside of the cat flap is just open to the elements.

A bit to pricy but ideas the job

We are very happy with the flap and the tunnel extenders that we have bought. The flap is working well and we had no problems getting the flap to recognise our cats microchips. Recently it saved our cat from an aggresive neighbouring cat who tried to attack which was good. Ideal for cats who will not keep a collar on but still wish for only your cat to gain access to your home. Would highly recommend this flap. Not cheap but worth the money.

Good product, but had to use 5 to bridge the cavity wall, so turned out expensive for a few bits of simple plastic. Was tempted to make my own tunnel but thought this would look better

Worked as expected. I went through outside R/R siding, and inside 5/8 sheetrock. Did not need instruction, but did read what was there. That info is sufficient. Frame-out wall cavity. The long screws provide will not reach through to secure two sides of unit together. Also, the plastic tunnel is soft. Better to have that rest on a wood base. Framing not a problem if you have normal 2 X 4 studded wall. (Use 2 X 4.) I needed two tunnels to achieve proper outside overhang. This required taking nearly an inch off the second tunnel. Not a problem using 1" X 30" belt sander. Mark your cut with masking tape. Take your time. Don't get burnt.

I recently installed the Sureflap Cat door going from my house out to my garage, These tunnel extenders were perfect! They hold up well and connect easily.

Sehr gute Erweiterung! Ich habe sie trotzdem wieder zurück geschickt, da meine Klappe dann doch noch grade so in die dicke Tür gepasst hat und ich die Tunnelerweiterung nicht brauchte. Hier wären genauere Maßzeichnungen für Klappe und Tunnel hilfreich, das würde Kunde und Lieferant unnötige Wege und Kosten ersparen!

Imprescindible a la hora de instalar la puerta Sure Flap en paredes. Éste es el tamaño para gatos gordos ó perros pequeños.
