I've only ever used Dremel rotary tools and so when my 3rd one gave up and died a week or so ago, I really just needed a cheap alternative in order to finish the job. And so far this has done just that. Really well. I've barely used any of the many accessories, as I still have those I got specifically for my old Dremel. Including the flex-shaft. The main top nuts don't interchange with each other but the flex-shaft and tools all work fine with it. The flex-shaft simply needs to be clamped directly into the rotary tool and then screwed on to the flex-cable threaded hood and it seems to modularly fix together nicely without any weird burning smells, sounds or friction from either unit. Considering the price this is, compared to how much the competition costs, I can honestly say that this works almost as well and as solidly as its main competitor. It's got it's plasticky bits and you can hear and see where costs were cut but equally with the amount of stuff you get with it, it's still a bargain and a pretty solid product considering its low price. Add to that the excellent customer service from the company when I reached out regarding the courier choice, which I really wouldn't recommend, as they've rarely ever done a good job at delivering stuff and we all know who I'm talking about! Yeah, apart from that minor issue the company itself was excellent and I would definitely consider buying from them again. Providing they don't use the same delivery company! Still, overall a solid 5 star. 👍

After 3 years of owning this I can report it still runs great and has been an invaluable tool. Some things I’ve now used it for: -Engraving wood -Grinding/sanding plastics/wood/metal -Cutting screws and bolts -Sanding all sorts of things. Where it shines is when working on small delicate things, save the full size grinder/sander/drill for the big jobs. ====original review==== This multitool came well packaged in a plastic storage case for all the bits n bobs including the tool itself. Ive only used the grinding discs for removing grout so far and it did that without any fuss. Im sure i will find more cutting/grinding jobs for it in future. The tool appears to be well made, I expect it will last a long time. I also have a cheap von haus hoover for messy jobs not to ruin our main hoover, the brand seems to represent good quality at very reasonable prices. Much better value for money then the overpriced Dremel branded tool which doesn't come with hardly any attachments.

It does the jobs just fine.

Everything l could have expected and more. The Van Houson company never fails. Arrived very well packed and all the tools are held safely in a very sturdy purpose built tool box. Definitely value for money

So far I have been happy with the rotary tool. It is robust but easily manageable to handle whilst using it. So far no problems, and I have been extremely happy with the purchase and what you get for the costs. Makes a pleasant surprise not to be ripped off for a reasonably priced product. I think so far I have used most of the accessories that came with it, and all have worked fine and to a good standard. I would def recommend this product.

I just wanted something to help with some little odd jobs and some craft stuff. Couldn't justify Dremel money and this kit seemed like a bargain particularly with all the accessories. And I love it. Quality is far better than I expected. Its lighter than I thought it might be. I'm yet to use every accessory but those I have were just great. Highly recommend.

A pretty good rotary tool with a nice assortment of accessories but they are very cheaply made. I used one of the circular saw blades and as I was cutting some very thin wood the blade snapped the shaft in half and it went flying down the hallway, I gotta say I was a bit shaken by this as my head was just inches away from a blade spinning very fast and it could of caused some significant damage to me! I purchased some better quality blades and it hasn't happened since, I'm very careful now how I use these tools. If I find the broken parts I will post a picture. Definitely something I wont forget in a hurry.

Good product, arrived absolutely reeking of weed though.
