Awesome little tool, so handy. Small enough to live in the small jeans pocket, I forget I’m even carrying it. Despite the small size, it feels seriously well made. I’ve had cheaper versions of this type of tool, but this one is well worth the money. All of the tools can be selected with ease, there’s no struggle to get the tools out. All tools feel very sturdy, no wobbling at all. Only small reservation, would be nice to have a small scissor tool instead of one of the two knives, but that’s just personal. Overall, this is a lovely little tool and I can highly recommend it

Seems well made, obviously it's not for heavy stuff. I keep it with my personal first aid & sewing kit. Out in the sticks the pliers will be handy if I ever need to sew with heavy nylon thread, a backpack repair, fir example. Would make a nice little gift or Christmas cracker present. Please with my purchase, just remember it's for light weight use.

I've had a Gerber Vice as my go to pocket tool/edc for over a decade until one of the spring leaves broke inside - decided to get a replacement and I can say this isn't the same quality tool I previously bought. There are slight burrs and rough edges left on the tool and the scales are roughly machines and not smoothed/rounded as they were in the previous model I purchased. Again the mechanism on the pliers and finish on the tool have a gritty and slightly unfinished look compared to the previous tool. The stamping of Gerber on the blade itself isn't as crisp and clear as the original. I don't know if the difference is down to the fact that the original tool was made in the US compared the this example being produced under licence in China or some other factor relating to cost savings. All in all it's a good go to pocket tool and it'll do the job - just waiting to see if it performs as well as my first purchase.

I bought this to keep permanently in my work bag. Just like my Victornox pen knife - you never know when it's going to come in handy! I used the Gerber pliers to mend some bent floor socket covers!

Starting with the positives, the two blades are sharp and cut well, the serated blade makes short work of box cutting and the flat blade is usefully sharp too. Also, the blades open to the outside of the handle meaning you can quick have access to cutting edges without opening the entire tool, unlike with the Leatherman Micra, which has to opened up before you can access any of the blades or tools. On to the bad. Very light use would see the jaws of the pliers twist considerably, and it wasn't long until the joint failed completely, leaving me with two tools for the price of one. That was until the flathead screwdriver broke too. I binned that half of the tool and now just have the half with the blades in my toolbox in case I need a little blade for something. It is quite rough and sharp in many places, so anything it shares a pocket with would likely end up with scratches and damage, so it's not exactly EDC friendly either. The fit is okay, the finish, not really. Cheap as it is, it's not up to the standard I expect for even this meagre money. You'd be much better off with something from Victorinox for very similar money, which won't damage pocket partners and won't fall to bits. While I'd prefer the tools on the Leatherman Micra to open outwards like the do on the Gerber Vise, it is in all other regards a much better made piece of kit, even if it based around scissors rather than pliers.

Gerber Vise arrived slightly wonky / around 1mm off, and a little scuffed even from packet, or could have been me, not sure due to being Aluminium sides easily scuffed / worn. DESIGN POINTS: I would have preferred one blade with 2 thirds serrated edge and one third smooth blade and tip, rather than two blades wasting one tool space. The bottle opener is also a waste due to it being attached to a flat head screwdriver which limits the depth use as it is a "box channel U shape" opener. But the Phillips screwdriver is better than the Gerber dime because it is slightly "3D" and not simply a pointed "2D" tip. Also The pliers have 3 functions - grips - pliers - cutters, but cutters are very small [would have been better to have slightly smaller pointy end tip with another 2mm of cutter blade. The small screwdriver flat-head is OK, but rounded on one side and bladed the other [deign should be both bladed]. The second blade could have been a longer tool for a longer full flat-head, or better still a hook tin opener package cutter combo etc. OVERALL: It is the best available on 17 / 01 /2024 for the price i got it at £19.99 etc, could do with better design, it seems tough enough, and I still have time to send it back for a better aligned one, but it's not a big problem for me. It seem a better bargain than the Gerber Dime and is smaller than others of same price = about two pinky fingers wide and deep in size [roughly]. The warranty is 25years for outside the USA etc, which is fine.

I bought this for my friend as a Christmas present, as his last multi tool had broken. he is a warehouse manager and uses the tool every day for opening parcels/pallets. the tool is very sturdy and has a great build quality, it is packaged nicely in a high quality cardboard/blister style pack, perfect for a gift. BE WARNED, the knife is very sharp and does not lock open (uk regulations) and he has already accidently cut himself with ease. overall great product, which is expected from a company like Gerber.

O produto oferece o quê promete. Tamanho e praticidade minimalista de um multitool bem pequeno. Claro que não é uma ferramenta para trabalhos pesados, e sim um quebra galhos para pequenas atividades como : abrir uma caixa de correspondência, cortar uma linha ou barbante, apertar algum parafuso que não necessite de muito torque (tampas de brinquedos, máquinasde cartão, calculadoras, etc...). Os comentários que desmerecem este produto são apenas falta de bom senso sobre a capacidade do Gerber Vise. Se você precisa de uma ferramenta mais potente, compre uma ferramenta mais potente. Se você precisa apenas de uma ferramenta para atividades urbanas como citadas acima de fácil porte e transporte, compre este canivete com certeza. Dei 4 estrelas apenas porque o suporte para chaveiro poderia ter sido colocado do lado oposto da abertura das lâminas para que não atrapalhassem a sua utilização (que vieram bem afiadas diga-se de passagem).

Excellent quality multi utility tool from Gerber. Been using this for about 6 months but still no scratches no issue with quality of the product. I would say it's a value for money product.

These little guys are solid. Very good quality and very portable! I have to admit they're smaller than I was expecting, but that's one me since I should have paid more attention to the dimension description. 100% recommend, I'm a photographer/videographer and I keep these in my bag just in case. Doesn't take up much space and they work when I need them too! Lifesavers
