Wooden Bread & Butter Toaster Toy | Play Food | Pretend Play | 3+ | Gift for Boy or Girl

Bought this for my three year old grandson after he had played with one at a Tiger who came to tea exhibition. He is now six and still plays with it with his two year old sister. They have great fun with it and it is still in really good condition. It's great for imaginative play.

Child loves it, great quality, sturdy

Bought this for my granddaughter who is a year old. She is probably just a bit too young for it but she does love putting the slices of bread into the toaster and watching them pop up. It is a lovely toy and very well made.

Beautifully made but toast doesn’t pop up and dial doesn’t work. Hopefully get a replacement. Update on this product. Customer service were excellent and have refunded me already. I think it was just a fluke I received a product that escaped the manufacturers testing as the packaging was in perfect condition and item wasn’t damaged just not screwed together properly before being glued together during manufacture so unfortunately cannot be fixed. Definitely buying another one. 👍

Really fun item and great addition to a play kitchen. Our daughter loved practising spreading the butter using the wooden knife. If you ping the toaster lever with force it shoots the toast out high which makes her giggle with laughter every time. Have bought a few for friends too as they are a nice alternative to plastic versions.

A beautiful and durable toy for a r heavy-handed 2-year old. The bead and butter have velcro on each side. All items are wooden I would have no issues or hesitation in recommending this toy. I found all items were bigger than the child's mouth

Bought for my 3 year old great nephew. He hasn’t tried it out yet but the quality looks really good and I prefer not to buy plastic toys if I can avoid it. Good sized toaster with knife and slabs of butter in tray. Really cute gift and thought the price was good for the quality you’re getting. I would recommend.

Butter velcros on. The toaster doesn’t pop by itself, so has to be manually popped. Chunky wood. Lovely set!

We have purchased a playhouse for our younger grandchildren to play in when visiting. I've had great fun furnishing it. I want it to be something special that they recall from their childhood in years to come. I've tried to avoid plastic, as much as possible, and as a retired teacher, I've held toys to the standards I had for my classroom. The Melissa and Doug wooden food sets are there. I had to find a play kitchen on Etsy, not finding what I wanted in the commercially made ones. The table is handmade, as well. This little toaster is worthy of the playhouse. I expect it to last the ten years, or so, before the youngest outgrows wanting to play in the playhouse. When everyone outgrows the playhouse it will become a garden shed (that happens to have a porch and small size Dutch door in front and an adult size door in the back.) The toaster may well live on to be played with by great grandchildren. I think kids are surrounded by too much plastic. I think we should give them natural materials to play with when we can. I have the coffee maker coming, and will likely buy the blender, and all the rest of the Melissa and Doug kitchen line. They are not really pricey for wooden toys and they have the modern gadget factor that kids like, only in wood. I would have loved this little toaster as a child. I think the grandchildren will love it too.
