I have now used this humidifier for over a month. I must say it is an excellent humidifier + essential oil diffuser + night light. Each of these functions have helped me and my family. I hope someone else who reads this will find this information helpful and will invest in a humidifier. I live in UK where it's quite dry and on every season change is infested with various bugs. For the last 1.5 years I have been getting sick all the time. If I was down for 6 weeks, I'd be feeling normal for max 1-2 weeks before I get sick again. And for the last 1.5 years this has been mostly due to a frequent cough. Since the air here is quite dry no matter how much I cough phlegm did not come out. I've been constantly feeling a burning sensation in my chest and having endless, almost daily, nights of disturbed sleep due to coughing all night as soon as I lay down with no phlem coming out. In February this year, my GP asked me if I've ever had Asthma. She gave me a spray for Asthma/wheezing + antibiotics and asked me to drop into the hospital for an xray. However, due to kids stuff I couldn't collect these from the pharmacy. On that same day this got delivered. So I started using this humidifier hoping that it will help. The next day I was feeling much better. Though I did still cough that night, phlem came out. My skin and bleach damaged hair was feeling softer. My kids skin and hair felt softer. I was feeling better 2 nights later so I skipped on the antibiotics and asthma/wheezing spray prescribed by my GP though I will never advise anyone else to skip on their medicine. I held on to them just in case I feel I should take them. It has been a month now and next week I have an appointment with my GP to check xray results. I am planning to hand in the spray and antibiotics to her and explain what happened. I am feeling much better now and have been having good nights sleep for weeks. The first week or so I did cough in the night but only to cough out phlegm. I think this is why I've been having a hard time with a cough. I feel my body has been trying to expel what it didn't need in it. The dry air didn't help it. So I suffered for a long time. This humidifier helped me. Its night light is great for the kids. We already had a small plugin night light. But my lil ones frequently kept turning the ceiling light on because the small plugin night light was not bright enough and they were scared. This night light is perfect as it gives more light. Plus keeping it on colour change setting keeps them entertained to some extent as they seem to like it changing colour instead of staying the same colour. The essential oil diffuser is also really good. I ordered a bunch of essential oils from amazon as none comes with this humidifier. I used peppermint essential oil and it helped me breath easier and somewhat control the coughing throughout the night. I also use other essential oils to help clean the room once a week or so to keep germs under control. Using essential oils with this humidifier has really got me into more natural remedies so I ordered a bunch of books on amazon itself to get some knowledge into the area of using essential oils and herbs. When it comes to cleaning this humidifier, though I'd rather have it self clean, I think it's very easy to clean. The humidifier is made of 3 stacked pieces (as you see in the picture); - the top white bit (directs mist to the direction you want), - the middle blue bit (storing extra water), and - the white bottom bit (where all the other stuff happens). The 3 pieces don't lock at all. They can be just lift off and separated. You need to separate them to either fill the blue middle bit with water or clean. Under the middle blue water storage bit is the screwed on filter attached. By unscrewing this filter you can refill it with water or clean the inside of it. The bottom white bit is where the real stuff happens. You can easily clean the white bottom bit too. All that said I have found a little bug in this machine. I see that some have complained about it not working or working only for a short while and stopping with the red light on even though there is water there. The bug I think is the cause of this. This happened to me on the 2nd night. The 2nd night I didn't refill with water as the water level showed to be enough to last the night. Then I lifted the blue middle bit as well and checked if there's enough water in the bottom white bit. There was. So I just put the top bits back on and turned it on for the night. But when I came back hours later into the room, it has stopped working though there's still water half filled in the middle bit, and it was blinking a red light. I was a bit alarmed when this happened. But I did a bit of testing and found out that if the bottom white bit has water in it then you need to empty this water before you turn it back on and also make sure the middle blue bit is put/stacked back on correctly (the square hole under the middle piece needs to sit on the protruding bit on the bottom piece) and when you do that you need to hear a gurgling water sound and water filling the bottom bit sound. But make sure to empty the water out of the bottom white piece before you stack. If you don't lift the middle blue piece then there is no need to empty the bottom white piece. Anyway even with this bug I'm giving this humidifier 5-Stars coz I absolutely love this humidifier. To the seller/manufacturer : If I'm wrong about the bug then I would appreciate it if the manufacturer/seller gets back to me to clarify and I will update this review accordingly. Thank you :-)

Only just received this at 6pm, and already been going for 6hours and I read all the feedback and nearly everyone recommended to put it on at night which I will do. I managed to put it together easily as per instructions. It appears to be working fine with no noise at all, its great, and it looks nice and attractive. No bad smells, not yet anyway. If I do run into any problems I will read all feedbacks for advice, or contact the seller. The colours are wonderfully relaxing, and already I notice the change in atmosphere - long may it last. I am hoping this is one of my best purchases as it never 'broke' the bank as it's at a reasonably affordable price. There are so many things to help one, like 'moods', dry cough and sinuses, helps moisturises dry skin which I have due to eczema, among other things, So far so good, and please God I will still be using it this time next year. I have read every feedbacks with all questions and answers to other peoples problems with it, and those who have left good feedback about it, and there's more people who love it than people who have had various troubles, and it was the good reviews that caused me to purchase one. Easy to clean and to keep it good order/condition apparently. I see no reason for it to go wrong but if it should that will be bad luck for me, and would add more, about its faults if there are any, but I am putting my faith into it. Long may I use it and long may it last. Thank you to all who left answers to my questions about it they were all great and encouraged me to purchase it. So far, 6 hours and I notice a difference in my bedroom already, the only time and place I shall use it. TONIGHT I'VE PUT MY HUMIDIFIER ON again having emptying it and cleaned it, and being almost bed-bound with heart and lung diseases/disorders I need the steam and I had a perfect night sleep last night from 10.30pm ish and never woke up until 8.30am, am usually awake by 6ish but never stirred last night. My breathing is better with no cough. Already notice the difference, my mouth wasn't dry and my skin felt moisturised, having very dry skin. So the second night is here and the humidifier has been going since 3pm and should last until 10am tomorrow then I will do same as today. So far so good. Plenty of vapour coming out even on a lower setting. I think I am going to enjoy this very much. I am in bed by 2pm, so on it goes by 3pm - 10am tomorrow, and am expecting great changes in my health, please God. I shall write some more in a few days time.

This humidifier is an attractive looking product, however for me the mains lead is a little short. Recently I borrowed another humidifier from my daughter, this did not work as well but it did have a longer mains lead. Whilst relatively simple to assemble and fill with water I found it is also quite difficult to avoid spilling drops of water when refilling. You remove the top coloured bit which leaves the base which you need to avoid knocking as it remains full of water. The top needs to be fitted to the base in the correct manner again this can cause water spillages if you are not careful. I think the shorter lead is a principle problem here as if you try to move the base it is easy to run out of lead and then water can spill. The unit itself when operating seems fine and you can see a cloud of vapour rising out of the spout into the air. On the unit I borrowed from my daughter the mist was warm on this unit it is very cool. I assume that is how it is meant to be but it can make the bedroom cool overnight, perhaps a little cooler than some would prefer. I also assume that it is the intention that the mist coming from the machine is cool I have tried using oil with the machine not sure yet if this is a success or not. I wonder how long the little sponge in the oil slot will last, cannot say I have seen spares for sale although I guess it is easy enough to make your own. I found the aroma from the oil only lasted a short time even though I added ten drops. This of course could be the oil not the machine, I purchased that as well on Amazon from Woodland Trust. Not quite a five star rating from me then, but this is a product I am happy to keep and use. If you are happy to have a coolish bedroom and if your socket is not too far away then I would say it is worth giving this product a try. I should mention that I have received several e-mails from the seller and I am impressed that they seem keen to ensure that I am happy with the humidifier.

Bought this to use in my 15 month old's room; he has had a cough that gets worse at night and I noticed also on our thermostat that the house humidity had dropped to 30% with the central heating on all of the time. The humidifier is very easy to use; instructions were clear re: what to do. It is also incredibly quiet; you do not notice it at all in the room. The setting allows you to have a very light mist or very powerful. I have been using it on a medium setting and it lasts at least 12 hours. You have the option of LED lighting but you can also turn it off and then there is just a little glow from the power on light but it is minimal so excellent for night-time use. My only criticism of the humidifier is that the power cable could be longer so that you can position it where you would like to in a room.

Its very easy to operate and not overpowering scented because the scent goes into the little drawer, my only concern here is that if you use lavender essential oil, it may perish the foam or plastics as thats the property of some essential oils, better diluted in water directly which is what they dont recommend. I'm not sure about the purpose of the filter but its era nice. Steam is nice as you can direct it and its a total "dry" flow highly directional. I have ujsed several of these and this is maybe a bit clinical looking , (i prefer a modern wood look) but very functional. There is some shadowing on the tank showing through the lights it must be the design as the tank is clean. You can use it with the lights only and its a nice flow from one colour to another if you use it as a nightlight use the red, its nice n dark. In the day time I set it to blue so it shows that its on as you easily forget it . Its nice to go to sleep and also nice in early morning to have your first cuppa... It would also be ideal for hot nights it cools the air around it very very nice! Product is well made and simple to operate.

Cant give it 5 as we have only used it for the past 3 nights but so far so good. I think it should be activated some time before going to bed as I personally don't seem to benefit until later on in the night. How do I know that you might ask, well I suffer from a dry throat and I go to bed with one, its not until later in the night that I find it becomes aok. The wife thinks its working fine for her as well. Brilliantly silent (well done) and the delivery spot on. However!!! Having used it, It appears that there is no way of obtaining the water filter replacement so thsi could be a load of garbage. A response to this might help to rectify this

I have been diagnosed with silent reflux and cough particularly in bed at night in a dry bedroom, so thought I'd give a humidifier a go. The item was delivered quickly, easy to set up, and you can switch the lights off which is good as I find it a hindrance to sleep. The pack came with some scented sachets and spare filters, these have little stones in so the water is filtered naturally, and there's a tray for oils. It claims its noiseless, it is not, its not as noisy as the previous humidifier I had from another company, but it makes a hum and you hear water plopping regularly. I sleep in ear plugs anyway but can still hear it so just have it further away. It leaks some water from the middle, its not brilliantly designed, the water trickles through to the base without a nozzle or attachment inside, and the two parts separate easy so water can pour out accidentally everywhere, which has happened, it needs a seal round the middle. The cold air is nice on hot nights, though the lowest setting is still quite powerful so I block the cone on top a bit with a wad of cotton wool so the stream is less, but on colder nights the cold air stream makes the bedroom cold so I direct the nozzle away from the bed and use a hot water bottle. It would be nice if you could have hot and cold air. Its biggish, and quite heavy when its full, so I recommend putting less water in, and using plenty of essential oil in the tray as you can't really smell it otherwise. It does make a difference to my reflux, I certainly cough less and my chest is less itchy and tight, and for that its worth keeping and using, and am experimenting with seals and rings round the middle to stop the leaking, as its a bit worrying with it being plugged in.

I bought this as I was struggling to sleep due to side effects of radiotherapy. The past 2 nights have been the best sleep I can remember for a very long time. It is completely silent and the light is very subtle. The only downside is I don't have it very high but it does use an awful lot of distilled water which unfortunately isn't cheap but it's worth it for the quality of sleep.

Je mets une étoile pour plusieurs raison, je viendrais donner mon avis après utilisation plus tard, en effet la prise anglaise n’est pas fournit avec un adaptateur français, cette mention étant importante j’aurai aimé la connaître avant de commander surtout vu le prix de l’article. Ensuite l’emballe du colis, et bien il n’y en avait pas, le produit à été livré dans son emballage d’origine sans aucune protection, il a pris des coups! Je suis donc obligée de commander un adaptateur afin de pouvoir tester le produit, je regrette de ne pas l’avoir lu dans la description.
