TRIXIE 5630 Nesting Box, Beige, 21 x 12 x 13 cm

Excellent quality box, that both our love birds adore. We bought this as not knowing if our birds were both the same sex, and seeing them 'enjoying a bit of loving time together' thought we may need one, just to be on the safe side. A few months later we're pretty sure we don't have a boy and a girl, but all the same, this box has been well used by them both. We started with the lid open, as our birds are quite nervy types, but noticed they soon enjoyed pushing the lid down, and moving the box around. Nowadays they seem to sleep in the box, and use it as a place of safety when we have guests round that they don't know (quite comical watching them peek out of the hole suspiciously!) So we've now left it in place for them to enjoy.

Nice and roomy for my budgies.. there are no attachments to fit it, but I screwed a couple of hooks in and it holds fine where I want it. Also the perch doesn't fit, the hole is way too big for it. I overcame that problem by using one of my natural perches which fit a treat. All in all does the job it was made for

I purchased this for my niece who breeds budgies ~ we have two of hers.

Material too thin too retain any heat the small size is not suitable for budgies. May be OK for smaller birds. Wood has been painted not suitable for birds that will chew. Not for budgies

very good nesting box, but unfortunately my budgies were two females so they couldnt mate although i mounted it outside i was scared they could leave because of the lid on top

Very poorly made. Rough edges and needs sanding down because of sharp edges and bits poking out. The wood hasn't been treated, it's just rough cut wood put together quite sloppily. The main hole looks quite small and not sure if my budgie hens will be able to get inside. No attachments included to fit into/onto cages. If attempting to attach outside the cages then the overhang of the lid means I won't be able to lift it to check on chicks. The concave bit is very rough with lots of sharp bits sticking out too. Its all not been finished or sanded etc. Also the concave part is actually a part of the base so cleaning will be difficult. Not worth the money and I bought the set of 2. Will be returning. Not impressed at all.

Nicely assembled! My budgies haven't went in it yet but we will see! Happy with my purchase!

Ich kann diese Negartive kretik nicht verstehen ,bzw nicht nachvollziehen ,zumal diese Brutkästen von Trixie relativ günstig sind ,was will man für diesen unschlagbaren Preis noch erwarten ,und mit ein bisschen Phantasie bekommt man sie auch am Käfig befestigt ,nur ideen muss der Mensch haben und selbständig denken können lach :D :) ,und Not macht Eerfinderisch sagt man ,man kann zb Löcher an beiden enden auf der Rückseite in den Brutkasten Bohren ,und in den Baummarkt gehen und sich schrauben dafür kaufen und besorgen ,zusätzlich kann man sich oftmals wenn man darin Löcher gebohrt hat auch mit Kabelbinder aushelfen ,nunja der Mensch muss halt etwas zum meckern finden nicht wahr ? lächerlich echt ,und das noch zu diesem unschlagbaren Preis von 6,99 Euro was will man für noch nicht mal 7 Euro erwarten ,meine Welli Babys sind groß geworden darin ,und die Mamas haben ihr Babys sehr Führsorglich behandelt und versorgt und gefüttert und nicht Tod getrammpelt aus Platzmangel lächerlich und nicht nach zu empfinden ,also sie brüten auf den Eiern 18 Tage lang ,und wenn ihnen das im Brutkasten zu eng wird sitzen sie draussen vor dem Brutkasten auf ihrer dafür vorhandenen kleinen Sitzstange ,und trampeln bei mir zumindest nie die Babys tod ,und mal Butter bei den Fischen wer verhindert so etwas in der Freien Natur wo der Mensch die Babys nicht davor beschützen und da eingreifen kann ? aber es muss ja ein Haar in der Suppe gefunden werden nicht wahr lächerlich haha :D :( ,ich habe schon drei Brutkästen zu diesen unschlagbaren Preis gekauft ,und würde diesen Brutkasten von dieser Marke Trixie immer wieder kaufen ,bei mir kam übrigens noch nie ein Brutkasten so an das die Nägel raus gehangen haben und die Wellensittiche sich verletzen konnten ,und auch kam bei mir generell kein Brutkasten beschädigt an und wenn kann man das sicher alles hin bekommen wenn man nur will ,denn zu dem Preis kann man einfach keine Erwartungen stellen ,dieser Preis ist einfach unschlagbar bei uns bei Zoo&Co kosten diese Brutkästen von Trixie 9,95 Euro und hier nur 6,99 Euro wenn man eine Amazon Prime Mitgliedschaft für Monatlich 8,99 Euro hat wie ich haha :D ;) ,so kann man dann auch mal mehrere bestellen wenn man noch mehr benötigt denn wie gesagt diese Brutkästen von Trixie werden meinen süßen Wellensittich Mamas sehr gut angenommen und lieben diese Brutkästen also eine klare Kaufempfehlung was das angeht!!!!und ich werde diese Brutkästen von Trixie immer wieder bei diesen Top Verkäufer kaufen,danke für diesen schönen Brutkasten und danke an das gesamte Amazone Team für diese schöne Amazon Prime Mitgliedschaft für 8,99 Euro im Monat für kostenlosen Versand und die Möglichkeit Filme kostenlos zu gucken und streamen zu können und allgemein für den ganzen Amazon Prime Service der keine wünsche offen lässt auch Musik kann man damit kostenlos hören und streamen und runterladen alles eins im einen einfach toll ich bin total begeistert von meiner Amazon Prime Mitgliedschaft für 8,99 Euro im Monat hatte es nur getestet sonst einmal für 0,99 Euro oder einmal ganz kostenlos und mich dazu entschlossen es beizubehalten ,da es sich einfach lohnt Amazon Prime Mitglied zu sein ,da ich immer viel bei Amazon bestelle vor allem aber für meine Wellensittiche und meine Katze und ich Amazon liebe und die große Auswahl an dingen haben die mich intressieren und ich gerne kaufen möchte auch für meine Wellensittiche und Katze eine riesen Auswahl schöner sachen haben auch an Speilzeug ,Käfige und Zubehör das im Zoohandel sehr viel teurer ist ich bin sehr zufrieden mit Amazon Prime und Amazon generell allgemein danke für alles an den Verkäufer und Amazon und allen Amazon Mitarbeitern schön das es euch alle und Amazon gibt !!!!!Ihr macht mich und meine Haustiere glücklich danke dafür LG :)

Ottimo prodotto arrivato in due giorni. Nelle recensioni avevo letto che insieme al prodotto non c'era in dotazione l'asticella di legno con cui i pappagalli entravano nel nido, ma nel mio c'era. Mancano i fori per appenderlo, e dall'immagine si capisce benissimo che non ci sono, ma ho impiegato due minuti di numero a farci due buchetti col trapano. Oppure è possibile legarlo direttamente alla gabbia con del filo. Lo consiglio
