A very good book.
A very well produced book, clear photos displaying the finer points coupled with the diagrams and photos makes this book a very good purchase and a must as far as I am concerned regarding learning the wooden dummy with out a personal trainer.

A useful resource
Clear and practical guidance for anyone who is studying Wing Chun or Jeet Kune and wants support in training using a wooden dummy. A book can never replace an actual trainer but this is a good compliment, written by a well-grounded master.

Very interesting reading lots of detail explanation into how to use the dummy and execute the techniques and how it can be used in a fight. I love it.

Pour avoir commandé les 2 livres de Shaun Rawcliff, ils sont très bien faits et très précis. Pour le mannequin, il y a aussi pas mal d'applications pour mieux comprendre.Certes, ça ne vaut pas un prof pour comprendre en profondeur, mais c'est super comme aide mémoire ou comme outil pour apprendre le basique du mannequin.

Great book! I have purchased and read a few Wing Chun books and this by far has been one of the best ones; especially, if you are interested in learning the wooden dummy forms/drills. It has a logical step-by-step process that shows you not only the application of the form on the dummy but how it applies towards an opponent using good color photographs. I would recommend this book to anyone studying Wing Chun or looking to learn more about the system. My only complaint is that sometimes the body of information does not necessarily follow the pics referenced on that page.
