Gorilla Tape Crystal Clear 8.2m

Fantastic tape! I had several leaks coming from my conservatory roof every time it rained. I put a strip of Gorilla tape over each panel and the results have been amazing. We had a bad storm last week and it poured with rain. There was not one drop of water that dripped onto the floor. 100% waterproof.

Really strong and sticky tape.

I needed some tape to cover and seal some polypropylene sheet seams in my airbrush booth, I thought this would be a good choice, I’ve had success with other gorilla products. This one’s ok, firstly it is very sticky, incredibly so, I don’t know how you can apply this in sections with your hands as you’ll get finger marks everywhere, so realistically if you want to use this you need to apply it and place it direct from the spool rather than cutting and then positioning. I found it doesn’t seem to keen to stick to its own surface, it does stick but I’ve found that it comes away from any overlap, it does stick to other things though, it’s a strange one! For the right application it’s probably great, but I found for me where I needed to cut and apply it into tight spaces, it wasn’t as easy to apply in a neat matter than I hoped.

I’ve used plenty of clear tapes over the years, but Gorilla Tape’s Crystal Clear version is in a league of its own. The 8.2m roll packs serious adhesive power—it bonds instantly and holds strong on everything from plastic and glass to rough surfaces like brick or wood. The tape tears cleanly by hand but is thick enough to avoid wrinkling during application. My only minor gripe is that it’s so sticky, repositioning isn’t really an option, you get one shot to place it right. But for permanent, heavy-duty fixes where other tapes fail, this one’s unbeatable. A must-have for DIYers!

A really versatile and effective product. Very thin and easy to apply.. Strong adhesive. Can be removed without leaving residue. Virtually invisible clear tape.

My daughter bought a self assembly chest of draws that had a two piece hardboard back joined together by a double grove plastic strip. Although this was adequate, to give it strength I placed one strip of tape down the plastic and two edge joints. I was very impressed how easy it was to use and the strength it gave the back panel. I would recommend this tape for adhesive strength and many repairs together with value for money.

This tape is unbelievable. It has stopped a leak on a UPVC bay window and being a clear tape it cannot be seen. Not sure how long the tape will last but will help me while I can afford to replace the window seal. Buy this tape if you need a strong waterproof fix!

Like most other Gorilla products I’ve used it sticks to itself way better than it sticks to anything else. And it does not stick under water. There’s also not a hige amount on the roll for what you pay.
