Black powder coat scratched up during a relatively easy installation. Guessing it will look horrible in a few days. Hopefully it's actually stainless as I've installed outside on my shed. Probably just go for the "silver" color, because the black paint job is cheeeeeap

I have a pocket door that won't balance. I wanted to use this as a hack to keep the door in the open position, but it was too small for what I needed it for. Overall it was good quality hardware.

I think the title and picture say enough. On day one the paint started coming off already, now 1 week later (when i took this picture), scratches all over the latch.

One screw was destroyed while screwing it in. Fortunately I had a similar screw in my toolbox to replace it. It works and does it job but feels flimsy.

Doesn’t come with instructions, but pretty self explanatory, so no deductions there. My biggest issue is that it scratched the first time I locked it and continued to get worse and worse with every movement since. It’s only been installed for two days. Totally ugly with all the scratches. If you care about looks, I’d skip this latch.
