This unit is absolutey perfect and fits well in my flat. Holds all my dvd and im sure ive more than 250

This only arrived a couple of hours ago, but I’ve already put it in place and put a few CDs in it, a much needed replacement for my collapsing current set of shelving. I’m particularly pleased with my purchase. It’s well made & sturdy and was a reasonable price. There is still a good bit of space left to fill up, so that’s good and style-wise, it fits with the rest of the room very nicely. Job’s a good ‘un, as they say.

Everything the other reviewers have said is true. One thing I’d add is that as you are opening the box, such is the care and efficiency with which the unit has been packed, you are filled with the assurance that this is a company who care deeply about their products and as a consequence it will be in perfect condition. This sense of assurance and certainty made the whole process of buying this shelf unit a very positive experience. Great looking piece of furniture too. In fact, I’ve just ordered a second.

I notice the manufacturer stated it would take 250 CDs, but I have put more than that in already, with some room for future additions - frightening how many you acquire. Maybe their estimate was borne of a safety requirement, i.e. being pulled over by children etc. and you might struggle to get more than 250 DVDs in. If you place the CDs one layer upright and then stack on top you can get approximately 53 visible upright, plus another 28 stacked on top per shelf, so unit will take approximately 265 single CD cases upright and a further 140 stacked on top. You could even put some more on the top of the unit, if desperate, but we have used it for ornaments and looks good. The only slight issue is that, as a unit that isn't very deep, it could have done with having a solid base rather than legs. As well made as the unit and the legs are, you may need some method to attach to a wall, unless you have very flat and stable flooring (I don't, I have a late '80s build). A meshed cloth and screw attachment is included to fit to a wall bracket of some sort, but I have just used door wedges to tilt it back firmly against the wall. This is a solid piece of furniture, with the slight caveat that it has a much thinner backing, but equally it is well worth the £166 it cost (including delivery, which was very prompt). It loses a bit of additional space behind the edges around the rim at the front, as getting to CDs there would mean removing others first (and they would not be visible), but this is a trade off given it is also a very good looking piece of furniture in its own right. Just put the ones you never play there instead!

It is difficult to choose furniture without actually seeing it. I even rang the seller, but they couldn't be bothered to reply. As it looked the best option for me by far, I took a chance and ordered it. It is GREAT, just what I wanted and needed. Actually made from real wood PLUS with NO ASSEMBLY. I can recommend this item. Delivery was great, the package and content undamaged. Another had commented about the edges hiding a DVD or two. My answer is to put a set of DVDs there, minor problem solved. Just the job, couldn't be better.
