Compared to truvia, how good is it?

To state it has no aftertaste is misleading. It has an odd taste that starts when eating and lingers. I can't identify this effect its so odd but it does have a residual heat like a spice might have

What is the carb count?

Erythritol contains zero active carbohydrates, the ingredients say 100g/100g, but these carbohydrates (polyols) cannot be broken down by the body and pass straight through unmetabolised. Erythritol contains zero caloiries, therefore no active carbs as 1g carbs = 4 calories.

what is the erythritol made from and in which country?

Erythritol is its own chemical compound. It is marked as being produced in Milton Keynes, UK. Often it is made from the fermentation of corn. It’s a chemically boring polyol that cannot be digested.

OK to use for baking flapjacks?

I have used it in baking as it is heat stable. Doesn't give a weird taste to the food either!
