Seed Needs Lovage Seeds for Planting - Non-GMO Heirloom & Untreated Herbs to Plant a Medicinal/Culinary Home Grown Herb Garden Indoors or Outdoors (1 Pack)

I threw a few of the seeds in a couple of three inch planters less than two weeks ago and already have sprouts coming up. So far I am very happy with the seeds.

I own a couple of Click and Grow hydroponic systems. I bought the pods with the seeds for a while and then decided to try the experimental pods using my seeds. I have also used it to start seedlings indoors in the winter before transplanting outdoors in the spring. I live in Zone 4. Some seeds have worked, some have not like lavender. They recently added lovage pods to their collection. Never heard of it before. Did a little research and learned its a an herb, a perennial, and a secret ingredient in soups and sauces. Also learned that you can dry it, and grind it into a fine powder. Curious to see how they would do indoors, I planted a couple in the experimental pods during the winter to see how they would do. They have done exceptionally well. It does take a while for them to grow. I'm on my second batch and can't wait to transplant them outdoors.

Photo shows the seeds after 7 days since I planted them. I cannot wait to move them outside. They sprouted in 5 days. They grow fast. Many seeds for the price. They look perfect. I cannot wait for them to grow and use lovage it.

Already germinated good seat

These seeds haven’t sprouted as of yet and it’s been at least 10 days. I also followed all package directions and not one sprout. Very disappointing.

Lovage is an old world widely used herb. It gives a hearty boost to a wide range of foods. Great in marinades, casseroles, tomato dishes, soups, stews and a selection of personal favorites. Dries well and keeps for months... not recommended for items to be frozen. The flavor of lovage intensifies during freezing. Growing tips: Good moist well drained soil, feeding with Miracle grow and indirect sunshine for the first few weeks will give amazing results. About have of the seeds from this packet sprouted. Try using paper towels,on a cookie sheet, covered,kept warm, consistently moist and low lighting to sprout your seeds. Once sprouted,take care in planting them. Use of long handled tweezers helps greatly. Growing them offers you a wide smile of accomplishment.
