Love this product so far. Just got the Oura ring 5 and didn’t want to scratch it when lifting weights. I simply put it on below my ring so it’s covered, and it does the job and I don’t feel it at all! Covered my entire ring to leave it with no scratches. It has protected my ring with barbell, dumbbell, and cable workouts.

Works for exactly my needs to protect my rings when doing house chores and exercising. Mr wings are size 4.5 and 5 but sized down to a 4 for a nice, snug fit.

Calling the Buffr silicone ring protector a disappointment would be generous — at $24.95, it honestly feels like a scam. The entire point of buying this is to protect your Oura Ring during workouts, and it completely fails at that basic job. It doesn’t stay in place, constantly shifts around, and becomes even worse once you start sweating. Instead of protecting your ring, you’re distracted the whole time trying to fix it or worrying it’s about to slip off. For something priced at nearly $25, you’d expect at least a secure fit or decent quality. You get neither. The silicone feels cheap, the design isn’t thought through, and it simply doesn’t perform under real gym conditions. What makes it worse is that this isn’t a minor flaw — it defeats the entire purpose of the product. You’re paying a premium for something that doesn’t work when you actually need it. Save your $24.95. This isn’t protection — it’s frustration packaged as an accessory.

Got this to keep my wedding ring from getting scratched during weightlifting, and it does the job really well. No more dings or scuffs from my metal barbells, which is exactly what I wanted. Only downside? It’s a bit thicker than I expected, so it felt bulky at first. Took a few gym sessions to stop noticing it, but now it’s pretty comfortable and just part of the routine. Had to order a size up from my normal ring size, but finally got the right fit. Doesn't stick out either - looks pretty decent with my stack.

Don’t use it, fit awkwardly

This is an excellent product. It works very well and stays in place. My wife does Pole Fitness and this protects her wedding ring and protect the pole. She also wears it on her weight training days. I would highly recommend it.

​I bought the BUFFR Silicone Ring Protector with high hopes of being able to show off my beautiful engagement ring while working out. Unfortunately, this product failed on two major counts, and I won't be using it. ​Painful Pressure: When gripping weights or performing exercises that put pressure on my hand, the silicone guard didn't distribute the pressure as intended. Instead, it seemed to push the ring painfully into my finger/hand, making the workout uncomfortable and distracting. ​Protection Claims Debunked: I took my ring and the BUFFR to my jeweler to get their professional opinion. They informed me that while the silicone might protect the metal from scratches, the consistent, uneven pressure from the BUFFR could still cause the band to warp into an oval shape over time. This completely defeats the purpose of buying it to protect my ring from damage during exercise. ​ ​If you're looking for a way to safely wear your engagement ring while lifting or doing high-impact exercises, this is not the solution. It caused me pain and, according to a professional, still poses a risk to the structural integrity of the ring. My hope of "showing off" my actual ring while exercising won't be happening, and I wish I hadn't wasted my money on this product. Gave two stars because I like the concept of this but unfortunately I wont be using it.

Great quality and lasts forever. I've had these for close to, if not over a year now and they are not falling apart at all - and thats with weight lifting everyday. They are not as tight as when i first got them (im in between sizes), but I love it because they are more comfortable now but still do a job. It protects my rings well enough - however the tab spins if you're not paying attention and exposes the ring - so keep an eye on it.
