This is a great product that helps speed healing. It is especially great for people with sensitive skin like me. It absolutely does not irritate my skin. It is a clear, quick drying, gel, not a greasy ointment. It doesn't sting, making it great for kids and adults alike. It is effective without a ton of mystery ingredients. . When you first apply it it does have a slight odor of something that smells like chlorine, but it goes away quickly. No matter how much you apply, you won't be walking around all day smelling like a swimming pool. You won't smell like anything but yourself. Your clothes won't get greasy or wet. Just give it a few seconds to dry and you are good to go. This is an expensive product, but I have purchased it several times for the reasons I just mentioned. I feel like it is more reliably effective than other products I have tried in the same category. Recently, I purchased a bottle and it arrived with a five month expiration date. I was not one bit happy about that short expiration date and did not realize that it had been shipped by Amazon and that the old inventory was an Amazon problem. I contacted Active Skin Repair via email thinking that they had shipped me an old product, when in fact they were innocent and appalled. They answered quickly and were extremely helpful. They proved that they are a very high integrity company. I hope that they will be able to work with Amazon so that customers don't end up with old stock. They were happy to hear about a problem that they could hopefully fix. However, if you do order from Amazon, be sure and check the expiration date before using the product. Return it to Amazon for a replacement or refund. The Active Skin Repair Company says that the product won't harm you after it expires, it just won't have its highest level of effectiveness. I don't know about you, but for $35 for a small bottle, I want a fully effective product with an expiration date which is at least a year from the purchase date.

I rarely ever leave Amazon reviews, but this product worked so quickly that I had to say something. Within 72 hours, my skin looked better and I felt so much more confident. I originally bought Active Skin Repair First Aid Hydrogel for a cut on my nose (and, honestly, to help with a few acne spots), and every time I used it, it noticeably sped up healing and reduced redness. It’s super easy to apply, doesn’t sting, and absorbs fast without leaving any sticky residue. What I appreciate most is how clean and gentle it is. No harsh chemicals, no strange smell — just a straightforward product that actually delivers on its promises. It’s definitely one of those “why didn’t I try this sooner” finds. If you’re looking for something reliable, this is absolutely worth it. It might sound funny, but it’s officially part of my skincare routine now.

Wonderful product! My daughter introduced it to me when I was pruning her rose bush. I got poked by a rose thorn right through my glove. Ouch! I washed the area and she applied the liquid to my wound. The pain went away almost instantly, the redness gone. I was sold, so I bought a bottle for myself. Love this product. Not greasy or nor does it sting upon application.

First and foremost, yes, it's expensive but this gel works as advertised! I had an open cut on my forefinger that wasn't healing and was slightly infected. I tried the usual drug store remedies with little effect, then I came across this stuff. After two days of using the gel the results were remarkable! Healing and closure well underway.after four days it was closed and usable. That said, the instructions for use need improvement, from twisting the nozzle to open after removing the safety seal to how to remove the gel by gently washing with warm water between applications, something I recommend. As far as applying it goes, I found that a bead of gel in the cut covered with a bandaid and changed three times a day worked best. All in all it's a great product that I won't again be without but I urge the manufacturer to provide more meaningful and detailed instructions for use. But for this I'd have given it five stars across the board!

This stuff is the best for topical applications to heal everything from cuts to rashes to acne. Non toxic and a great option for anyone allergic to antibiotic creams. Easy to use. It's a bit pricey but worth it for the quality and results.

No sting and allows cuts to heal so fast! So much better than other antibacterial creams or gels.

I want to give this product a better review but the only reason I can’t is for the price and the bottle functionality. The top on my bottle would always get stuck and then it would unscrew the entire piece. After using it a few times it got so clogged I had to pull it apart and clean it. For something so expensive the bottle function shouldn’t be an issue. Overall the gel works as well as a bacitracin or neosporin. Just a caveat about the bottle if you have kids and are often trying to do things quickly or with one hand. Unfortunately this bottle takes up both my hands and isn’t super functional

After 10 days staring at the nearly dime sized crater I had created on my knuckle during a weeks long battle to destroy a very large and deep wart {freezing, the works) is was obvious my skin was not going to fill the hole left by destroyed skin. At best I had a dime sized wound covered by only a thin deep membrane. Despite regular Neosporin applications and Band-Aid cover my skin was not growing to cover the wound. I knew my body needed help. I searched for wound care and purchased this product. The first couple of days (5 applications per day) showed only minimal healing. But during subsequent days it improved quickly, as if the treatment was stimulating growth. Skinlike scabbing tissue has filled the wound, the color of the skin surrounding it has improved. I was convinced my wound was never going to heal properly. Now I am equally convinced that even my scar is going to be acceptable. If you have a slow healing deep wound, I highly recommend using this product. Do it as soon as possible while healing is still underway.
