The slinghook works well on all my packs either on yhw left or right shoulder.

Works great on my daypack. Easily installs and keeps your rifle sling where it’s supposed to be.

I purchased this slinghook right before hunting season this year and put it to work for about 20 days in the elk woods. The idea of this product is awesome. I can’t tell you how many times I had to adjust my rifle sling before purchasing this. This kept my rifle on my shoulder and I never once had to worry about it. I gave the product 4 stars for two reasons. With a heavier pack the plastic part of this digs into your shoulder. It wasn’t awful but you could definitely tell the strap was there over time. The second reason is because of the Velcro. I honestly don’t know how else they could do about it but the strap kept sliding down my shoulder strap and I had to keep sliding it back up into place. Again, neither of these things were a huge deal and I would buy another one. In fact I bought one for a hunting buddy already.

Works as advertized

Product appears to be well made, but it just did not work for me. Ended up taking it off after a couple of days hunting.

So I recently bought a cute new backpack to carry my work essentials in now that we’re going back to the office (boo!). But while wearing my cute new backpack, my purse kept slipping off my shoulder! So annoying! I thought to myself, I thought, “Self… you should invent a thing that would attach to a backpack strap and have like a hooky thing on it so your purse would stay up.” And then I thought, “Actually, someone probably already has.” So I came to the Mecca of all solutions to problems we didn’t know we had et VOILA! The SlingHook! I Velcro’d that sucker to my backpack strap and my purse handles hook right into it easily as I lug all my work crap around with me. No more purse slipping down my arm as I attempt to send texts lamenting to my besties how much I wish I was still WFH. If you have narrow shoulders and are constantly having to pull your purse back up when using a backup, I highly recommend!

Great quality, but I have to knock off a star because of the bright yellow logo and odd strap color that doesn't match plate carriers, which is why you're probably buying this in the first place.

Works great! Keeps rifle in place on back pack trips while remaining accessible.

Bought 2. One for me and my hunting buddy. Attaches easy to any pack. Find your sweet spot on your shoulder and bam! strap never slips off and make standing or hiking more comfortable. Both of us thought this was a great addition to the pack.
