Love these glasses - they provided an up and close visual for my projects- especially with putting our family puzzles together and my sewing projects to see those very intricate corners and small areas I need to get to - plus these magnifying glasses come with a strap so you don't have to always have the arms of the glasses around your ears - there are 5 different magnification glass pieces - so there is a magnification for all your needs -plus they come in a convenient carrying case - this product is easy to use, exchanging out each eye piece is simple and you have versatility with range - the glasses are adjustable by moving them up or down to your desired direction - theae glasses only require 3 AAA batteries for the light and you are good to go - these have helped me tremendously-I will say if you are an individual who does intricate projects which require keen attention to detail and up close visuals- then these magnification glasses are for you - hope this review helps

Works as advertised.

I make metal stamped jewelry, and do a lot of close up work. These glasses are almost perfect. They seem to be well made and sturdy. Features I love include:- Adjustable light position- Flip up lenses- Great lens selection and easy to swap them out- Easy off/on- AAA batteries - rechargeable is great until the battery runs out in the middle of using them!And, they just plain work.The problem is that after wearing them for a few minutes, they start to get painful. I think it's a combination of a few things: they're top/front heavy, all of that weight goes on your nose, and the nose pads are uncomfortable. The pressure on the nose quickly makes my head hurt. The rubber pads on the sides of the arms pull my hair when I take the glasses off, which is no big deal but annoying when I need to take them off frequently. I wish I could just flip the lenses up and leave them on. Being painful to wear, though...you see the issue.This might be an issue with this style of glasses, not this specific model. They're still worth a try, since they work so well, and I'm still using them while I look for something else.

I have several hobbies that require detailed work...I spend a lot of my free time creating crafts with a scroll saw, building model rockets and airplanes, and soldering electronics projects. I've had some standard safety glasses with a magnifying lens built into them like bifocal glasses, but it wasn't always enough to see the really fine stuff. These really let me get a good view of even the finest lines a printed circuit board. And from the way they're designed, I can still wear safety goggles with them so my eyes are still protected from flying sawdust.The light is more than bright enough. I would say it's too bright for some applications...I have to squint a little when I have a really high mag lens in and working on something close up...it's really bright when magnified like that. But it's better than not having enough light, so I'm not taking any points off for that.I have worn them for over an hour and they don't get feeling too heavy or pinch the sides of my head.They even have a really nice case to keep the headgear and all the lenses in so everything is kept together and clean. That's the kind of extra touch that lets you know they really are serious about presenting a good product.I'm 100% satisfied.

In the last two years I have owned two of these. They are comfortable to wear and the LED provides good illumination while they work. I have had one LED stop working on each of them in less than 6 months. The nose pads also started disintegrating after ~8 months. But these are so cheap to replace, you can easily consider disposing of them and just replace them when they break. If you are fine with that they are a good option.

I like this magnifying light. It works great when I’m painting fine details on my dolls. The only problems I have with it are it starts to hurt my nose if I wear it for too long and the other is I can’t use the light feature cause it’s too heavy for me if I have the batteries in it. I can’t stand it on my nose. Other then that it works great

As, everyone knows, when you start getting a little older, your vision isn't what it used to be! The backs of those medicine, and vitamin bottles get harder, and harder to read! We ALL eventually NEED a little help! This "headband magnifying glass" is a "MUST HAVE"! With the added light, it makes ordinary magnifying products OBSOLETE! It allows you to have BOTH hands available to do whatever you are doing. Things like, fine needle work, electronics repair, or crafting. I used it the other day, to put thread thru a tiny eyed needle. This can be worn like a regular pair of glasses, or the earpieces can be removed, and the adjustable, elastic headband can be attached for a more secure fit, if you are going to be moving around alot. The LED light is very bright, and the angle is adjustable. It comes with 5 different strengths of lenses. EVERY strength I would imagine you would ever need. You can "flip up" the lens out of your way, when magnification is not needed. The 5 lenses come in a sturdy little case with lid to keep them protected, and dust free. The LED light requires 3AAA batteries, which it does not come with.
