I bought this to replace an older 8-way extension lead that had started rattling — didn’t want to take any chances, so this was a safety-first move. This one’s got 8 plug sockets, plus 4 USB ports (1 USB-C and 3 USB-A), which covers everything I need for charging and powering devices. The braided cable is a nice touch — feels more durable and definitely looks better than the usual rubber ones. Doesn’t affect performance, but adds a cleaner aesthetic. The 1.8 meter length is fine, for my needs, but could be to small for others, so bear that in mind. Overall, it works exactly as expected — no issues, no fuss. Practical, reliable, and well-designed. Would buy again.

I recently bought this 8-socket extension lead from Amazon and have been really happy with it overall. It also has three additional ports and one USB port, which is really convenient—I love being able to charge my phone directly without needing a plug adapter. One of the best features is that it has individual on/off switches for each row of four sockets. That makes it super easy to control power and helps save energy when you’re not using everything at once. The cable itself is nicely braided and feels very durable and high-quality, which is a big plus. The only downside I’ve noticed is that some of the sockets are a bit difficult to plug into at first. Some plugs go in easily, but others require quite a bit of effort. I’m hoping that loosens up slightly with use, but it’s something to be aware of. Overall, though, it’s a really solid extension lead and definitely worth it for the number of features and build quality.

I do like this surage protected 8 plug outlet. So much so that even after my ceiling crashed down on my old one, with water damage as well, only 2 of the 8 plugs were affected, cant fault that. Have bought 2 new ones to replace, am very pleased with it. Only thing i would say, the USB sockets dont seem to be as high a current as i would like, my phone when plugged into one doesnt high speed charge like it does from the Samsung Charger, but i dont know whether its supposed to be like that. I am happy neverthelss.

Great extension cord. Had it for about 10 months and has worked great. Today, I was testing a plug that had recently stopped working suddenly and it started to smoke! Thankfully, the extension lead went ‘BOOM’ and immediately cut power. All items on the cord, including my PC and monitors, are totally fine and still working. So grateful that the surge protection works and very happy to replace in this instance!!!
