Progressive Automations Linear Actuator Stroke Size 12", Force 150 lbs, Speed 0.59"/sec - 12 VDC

I bought the 24V model with the fastest speed; it still takes 30 seconds to fully extend/retract 14”. Much louder than I had expected, even after wrapping the whole thing in automotive sound deadener. I’m using this to slide a DIY shoe rack riding on ball bearing steel rollers. Brackets (buy separately) are extra rugged.

Needed an actuator for a door project I was working on. I checked multiple companies before settling on the Progressive Automatons Linear actuator. I needed something that had decent power and speed. For the money this can't be beat. The actuator is made out of quality metal materials not cheap plastic. The actuator is smooth and quite. They have a very wide range of actuators for just about every need. I also contacted them directly to get some tech advice and they were very helpful and polite. You can get a cheaper one, but not of this quality.
