Easily the best sounding Bluetooth headphones I own or have tried. Call quality is also brilliant, been walking with wind and traffic, in noisy environments and people have commented on clarity nver had dufficulty hearing me. - I think probably good enough to use for my home office / big part of my day is spent in meetings and calls be interesting to see how they'd perform. The usbc dac connection is also a bonus- good to see B&W provided this. No Aanalogue output but dac/ bluetooth so good I dont miss that. Love the minimalist design too. Can still use these when they're charging. App is pretty basic but eq is handy - not explored enough to see if can setup profiles for genre or playlists.In a world of largely homogeneous plastic headphones these are simply breathtaking especially for at this price point. Lots of metal and leather, fantastic for the money. ANC is adaptive - sometimes it seems near as good as my Sony's other times in the same environment seems non existent. B&W support suggested returning for replacement if continues after factory reset - will see when I get around to that - too busy enjoying the sound at mo ;)The leather is quite sweaty on my ears but dead easy to wipe clean. My only caveat is: B&W are rightly, proud of their product and they certainly tell you that with their full name emblazoned down the middle of the brushed aluminium on both drivers. For my taste a discrete B&W in a corner on one of the drivers is far preferable. Controls are physical buttons on the edge of each driver and works well with the multifunction button distinguishable from vol by touch - the metal is a textured pattern. Seen complaints about the weight - but dont seem heavy when on to me. The clamping force is quite strong but not uncomfortable. Ive read on Reddit that these become unreliable just outside of warranty - they're so solid that seems hard to believe but time will tell... PX8s been B&W flagship for 3 years I just hope a new iteration isn't just around the corner when have only recently purchased these... I'd definitely buy again if needed.

Being a music enthusiast I have always admired certain brands and have aspired to own a premium set of headphones.Build qualityUpon receiving the Px8 it is very difficult to be anything but impressed when first taking these headphones out of the case. The headphones design is understated yet timeless and the incorporating of premium materials really add to the overall experience.ComfortThe build quality feels solid which is reconfirmed by the weight, these headphones are very comfortable and wouldn’t have any concerns with wearing for long periods.Sound.Before going into too much detail there had been some indications on YouTube reviews of these having some issues with lagging when watching videos, I am pleased to find this doesn’t seem to be a issue and have found the audio to be on point with video playback.Now to where these headphones absolutely excel, the sound on these are simply breathtaking, yes sound can be very susceptible and not everyone will have the same preferences however these headphones deliver deep rich sound whilst also maintaining clear vocals with zero distortion at the medium to high range.Yes I recognise these headphones are set at a premium price point however when compared to the AirPods Max the px8 do justify the increased cost with the inclusion of a decent carry case alone however being a iPhone user and finding it difficult to recognise any benefits with the Dolby Atmos transfer I had decided to go with the px8 and honestly have zero regrets.Simply a stunning piece of equipment to truly complement any music collection.4 months later.Although the performance on the headphones are just simply sublime, the build quality is simply not matched. After just 4 months the stitching to the headband has detached which not only spoils the visuals but will in time result in the headphones becoming unusable due to the headphones padding eventually dislodging and ultimately becoming uncomfortable to wear.The reason opting for the flagship Px8 had been purely based on the headphones being a premium design when comparing against the px7, however I have to give credit to Amazon for reviewing my concerns and promptlyarranging a return.Incredibly disappointed in having to return these as previously mentioned the sound is simply stunning.

I've got numerous noise cancelling headphones and have to say that these are the cream of the crop. The fit is great and cancels some ambient noise in itself. The noise cancelling is ok but not the eerie silence you may get with other current makes. That said, if you have the noise cancelling on and music playing, you will pretty much cancel out the surroundings/ambient noise. The leather is extremely comfortable on the ear pads and they look and feel luxurious. The sound is what did it for me - amazing. I have heard parts of familiar music that I didn't know existed, IMO and at this price, they are superbly balanced. They connect easily and seamlessly to whatever you want and the app is adequate but could do with updating. The only draw back is the battery life which for this sort of price should be double the current 30hrs. It's a P.I.T.A. to have to keep re- charging. That however, and the steep price, are the only drawbacks.Favourite go to headphones bar none.

I almost returned these headphones, and now I'm really glad I didn't.When I first listened to the headphones, I actually hated them - I thought they were too flat and clinical sounding because I was used to my sony earbuds which had a lot of added bass. The default tuning does not do every song justice because it can lack the physical punch that I want - but when I switched the EQ setting to be U-curved using Wavelet it suddenly added so much powerful and clean bass with the physical punch that you can actually feel the texture of, without it being muddy (like my sony's could be).Once I realised that I can make the headphones sound how I want them too, I stopped thinking about what I thought they were missing - and I've been turning the EQ off for a lot of songs because the default tuning is perfect for those. I hear so many things in songs I never realised they were there, and theres so much detail and texture.This is why I think they're versatile: if you want a physical punch for songs that need that, you can achieve that and it sounds incredible and much better than my Sony's. But I can just switch that off and use the default tuning which is neutral and has more clarity.They are also solid aluminium and leather with physical tactile buttons, unlike my Sony's, and has nice chimes when you switch it on and off etc (again, unlike my Sony's).Overall I love these headphones, but I also got then for 50% off which is probably adding to my excitement for them...

I loved my Sony XM4’s until I put on the PX8’s!! The build quality makes my XM4’s feel like a cheap plastic child toy in comparison! The clarity, precision and sound stage is on a different level to the Sony’s! The PX8’s have tremendous bass and presents music in a fun way that triggers an emotional response to tracks. Songs I thought I knew intimately, felt new to me, as I heard detail in them, that I never knew existed.They don’t have the precision, clarity and imaging of my Hifiman Edition XS. My XS are on a different level again! The PX8’s are however Bluetooth and not connected to cables and AMP/DAC’s, so you can enjoy wonderful sound quality on the train or sat by the river!! The build quality is outstanding vs the XS. So stunning in fact I often just look and admire them! For a set of Bluetooth headphones, I wouldn’t choose anything else!!

I knock one star off not because it's not good enough. It offers the best quality of sound after I listened to quite a few medium priced cans. It is just because the price had just come down by a hundred pounds since I bought it. Apart from this it gives a natural sound without any tweaking at all. I don't like too many adjustments. I never adjusted the knobs of my pre-amplifier. It is also very comfortable to wear and very good Bluetooth connectivity. Without excessive bass and sharp HF like a lot of headphones offering, no tiredness even for listening for hours. It has the most beautiful design of the products at similar price level. Apart from I bought it just a month too early, it should be a five star product.

Firstly I’ll say that these look and feel like a premium product, all leather and aluminium and they are comfortable to wear.But I returned them because…I was put off by the reports here and elsewhere about the headband splitting.The app is flakey. In particular when I cycled to noise cancellation or transparency this returned to off as soon as I closed the app. I tried resetting the headphones and deleting and re downloading the app without success. I don’t think this should be happening with a product at this price level.I’m not an audiophile but I do listen to a lot of music. I couldn’t discern a significant difference in the sound quality between these and my 4 year old Apple AirPods Max which are as good now as they were new. I doubt the PX8 will prove to be as durable.I wanted to like these but overall I wouldn’t recommend.

Still breaking them in so they're a little bit stiff but very comfortable. I use them for work and music. Excellent call quality on Teams, Discord and music in Spotify and Qobuz. Also good in any game. Connected to PC and mobile simultaneously to make work/gaming/life easy.Best sound quality in any headset around.Why I'm confident: Upgraded from Sony XM3 after 6 years - easily my most recommended headset. Upgraded to XM5 in 2024 and instantly moved to these PX8 after just trying them once. Tried every high cost/ quality set before buying just to be sure but B&W PX8 is a step above anything out there, even my beloved Sony.Build quality is simply amazing, much better than the PX7 in my opinion.

Nach 6 Monaten intensiver Nutzung – hier mein Fazit.Alternativen wie der Sony WH‑1000XM5 oder die Bose QC45 waren technisch ähnlich, aber ich wollte die klassische B&W‑Qualität in einem Premium‑Look erleben.2️⃣ ProduktvorstellungDie Bowers & Wilkins PX8 sind Over-Ear-Kopfhörer der absoluten Spitzenklasse. JA – weil der Preis für die gebotene Verarbeitungsqualität und das luxuriöse Tragegefühl angemessen erscheint.8️⃣ Fazit und BewertungDer PX8 hat mich in vier Monaten überzeugt: das matte Aluminium, das Nappaleder‑Gefühl und der B&W‑Sound verknüpfen sich zu einem echten Premium‑Erlebnis. Für jemanden, der sowohl im Klang als auch im Design höchste Ansprüche hat, ist der Aufpreis mehr als gerechtfertigt. Würden die nicht über 600€ und damit nicht fast doppelt so viel wie die Bowers & Wilkins Px8 kosten, wären sie eine Überlegung wert. Bei den aktuellen Preisen für mich keine Alternative. Die Bowers & Wilkins Px8 sind sowohl im Klang als auch in Design/Material mehr als gut genug.Und nun die Kernfrage, würde ich die Bowers & Wilkins Px8 nochmals kaufen?Ja, ich kaufe sie jederzeit wieder. Für den Einsatz in ruhigen Arbeitsumgebungen, langen Pendelstrecken und jeder Situation, in der ein luxuriöses Tragegefühl und erstklassiger Sound gewünscht sind, ist der PX8 die ideale Wahl. Wenn dir höchste Verarbeitungsqualität und das besondere Hör- und Trageerlebnis wichtig sind, wirst du den PX8 lieben.Meine Gesamtbewertung: 5 Sterne ★★★★★Und nun wünsche ich eine gute Kaufentscheidung!
