Works great for a lesser priced tool
I was a little worried about not buying the glimmer, but this machine works great. I had to play around with my sandwich a bit to get the results I wanted, but with some help from YouTube, I found that by playing around with it a bit, I get the same results, for way less money, as I would from the Spellbinders version. Totally worth it.

The machine is junk
Don't waste your money on the machine! There is no light to indicate when it is heated to the correct temp and even if turned on for an extended time, it doesn't heat enough to transfer the foil properly. It's a piece of junk!!!

works great and stuff turns out nice

Easy to use!
I was skeptical but needed a cheaper hot foil machine and this did the job perfectly. I had to use a few paper shims to add enough pressure when cranking through my Big Shot but I love the results!

Difficult to use
I watched videos on YouTube but sometimes put the gold foil in the wrong direction as it lacked a good pictorial manual. It is impossible to follow just the text instructions for beginners.
