Laoganma Fried Chili in Oil 7.41oz (Pack of 2)

Run don’t walk to buy these immediately. Insanely good price and I could eat this stuff on EVERYTHING. Ramen, rice, you name it. I don’t think it’s super spicy or anything it’s more (excellent) flavor, but that might also just be my spice tolerance. Anyway, buy these immediately! My favorite chili oil.

I usually buy this at our local Asian market but they were out - went on Amazon just to check if they sold it and to my surprise they did. The cost was a little more than my local market but I expected that. Ordered the set of two jars and it arrived several days earlier than they said it would. The flavor is great - not very spicy and not hot at all but on dumplings it's a perfect match - live this stuff.

So I discovered this while learning how to cook pizza-man when the results of my baking were lackluster. I couldn't find it anywhere. Apparently this is world famous but just not famous enough yet. So worth trying! Sauce is great for saving poorly baked products and returning some mildly spicy zest to food. The after-taste flavors it brings out are amazing. It is hard to describe. This is a very complex chili oil.

The sauce is great and I have to restrain myself from eating the whole jar right away! The package: like many mentioned, one bottle had a broken seal and leaked. it's probably a known issue and the seller is trying to make the best of a messy situation.

I read a couple of reviews about shipping problems, didn't know what to expect but was double bubbled wrapped and shipped in a box by itself, i freaking love this stuff, but moved out of the city, and its gotten impossible to find in local grocery stores, so glad they have this on amazon... once I i figure out how long 2 jars last, im signing up for a subscription

Seal was broken on arrival. Appears to have been sent that way intentionally because the product was securely shipped and there was no damage to shipping box. It also expires in 3 months. Taste is mediocre. Same issues others have had!

I love this stuff. I've purchased it multiple times from Amazon and although it's expensive, it saves me the cost in gas to get to the Asian food store (over a hour away). I first had this product about a decade ago in China and i've been hooked ever since. It's great on meats, vegetables, and plain rice. I'm sure the sodium content is a hypertensive's nightmare, but it still tastes good. It's not too spicy, just enough of some flavorful heat to make everything better.

This is a great product. We especially love it on eggs! But it is a great flavor enhancer on any dish you want to spice up a bit! I have been ordering this for several months but this delivery was the worst. The lid had been removed and replaced and the product leaked everywhere and on both bottles. They were wrapped in bubble wrap and again in plastic wrap and still leaked into the box. Very disturbing
