I'll be honest, I had some unintentional bias against this suitcase because I'd never heard of Mixi as a company before but I've been pleasantly surprised by this suitcase. It's incredibly light weight, the wheels articulate very smoothly and haven't caused me any issues to date after half a dozen work trips. The telescoping handle is without a doubt my favorite of any suitcase I've ever owned. I really enjoy that it's wide handled spanning the width of the suitcase. I also absolutely love the fact that this doesn't split down the middle and open "book-style" like more common suitcases, that's just a personal preference thing, but I like how I get to my destination and I feel like everything is neatly tucked into my "travel drawer". Beyond that the front panel is really convenient to keep magazines and such in for quick access while in transit. I think this is a well thought design that's well implemented. Your mileage may vary. Time will tell how long the durability holds up, but for now and after a handful of work trips I'm very happy with the quality of it. Note that I'm also not super hard on my luggage, I don't throw it around without regard and I never check it on a flight so it's not an item that takes a ton of abuse but it does still have to hold up to what I consider normal wear and tear. In summary, it's a good suitcase and I do recommend it to others who are looking for this style of front/top opening suitcase!

I travel for a living, and I have tried many, many carry-ons. This one is the best I’ve tried. Wheels are excellent. The way the retracting handle works, it doesn’t have two annoying bars taking up the inside space - like every other carry-on I’ve tried. So the inside space is spacious and easy to pack. Also, the front laptop compartment for easy access is really nice. Oh, also, unlike many hard carry-ons, it zips open at the top (vs. in the middle, making half of your crap fall out every time you open it at the airport).

We purchased this bag in preparation for an international trip. Lets break it down by categories: Size: The overall size of the bag is closer to the new regulations of carry-on travel. So if you're used to the more traditional sizes of the past before the past decade, this item is smaller than those. Therefore, it fits well in the overhead compartment without much force. Weight- the bag itself is relatively average for the weight of a carry-on. Not too bulky and it allows for ample space. The only issue is that since this design is a clam style carry on you have to be conscientious of weight distribution. I did have some issues with the balance of the weight distribution, as the item would tip when I had the suitcase is improperly balanced and theres a bag resting on top the suitcase will tilt and fall. The handle- We love this new design that allows for a more flush look to the suitcase. However, it comes with a set back... any bag that has been fit with a suitcase pocket for ease of travel with a personal item cannot be used on this bag. The design does not allow for it. So a quick fit-in to invest in some Bungie like suitcase belt that will ensure your bag is safe and properly secured to avoid it from tilting over. Capacity- The bag itself was rather deep and allow for enough clothes for a weekender to be packed in a vacuum-sealed bag. For reference, i'm a full-figured individual so my clothes tend to be a little bulkier and I was able to fit 2-3 days worth of clothes in a vacuum-sealed bag in here without any issue. Be mindful when your packing though as this suitcase does not allow for overpacking. There is NO expander. All and all it was a nice bag with ease of movement and I'm loving the new design. I would recommend it and I love this new design of handles.

This is probably the best suitcase I've ever purchased. Not only does it look nice and unique (which is good for when you're trying to figure out which luggage is yours at the baggage claim), but it also has thoughtful functionality. The initial zipper only opens the front pocket for easy access to items like a laptop, tablet, wallet, or phone. The inside is also the most roomy carry on I've ever experienced. I never used to use carry on bags because they barely had any space and most of the inside was taken up by the telescoping handle. This suitcase doesn't have that problem and the small top opening makes it convenient to pack the suitcase as well. I would 10/10 recommend this suitcase to everyone I know. Also, the packaging on this suitcase was super high quality. To me, that is just another reason to trust the quality and workmanship that was put into this design. It also has a 3 year warranty, which is much longer than I would have expected.

Loved thus luggage, have on for myself and my wife. A bit heavy, but made up for with the wide handle and opening on one side. Very packable. Now the rub- because they were heavy, I had to gate-check it. No biggie but when I got it back, the zipper handles had broken off. There is a delicate plastic piece (now missing) that keeps the zipper pulls on. I am hesitant to travel with them any more as I there is nothing to prevent them from unzipping and opening. Sad that this ultimately was an expensive experiment.

I'm doing a review for our two 20" & a 24" Mixi luggages for just one and only reason. It's not for their rugged beauty and elegance, the wide handle resulting in a spacious interior, the enjoyment of packing them in preparation for trips to the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, Europe and Asia. It's not for the reason they are so nice we own 3 and gifted 2. No! It's for the only reason that Mixi need to make a translucent cover specifically for its luggage so their elegance can be maintained and not get tarnished by abuse from airline baggage handlers. This is a plea!🙂

A great suitcase - rolls easily. It has several handles to manage moving it easier. It is a midsize suitcase with a TSA approved locking system. Very happy with my purchase! It will be easier for me to manage this one, most of mine have small wheels and are not so easy to manuver when packed. It is a light color but made of durable material. Thanks for a great product!!

I wasn't even going to attempt to buy this, but it was almost too good to be true that so I did, just so I can see what these are like a pray they will fit my needs for traveling international. I usually do 9-14 day trips. This suitcase result: FAIL Why: International size requirements at least for the U.S. to other countries is mostly is 21.5H" x 9W x 15L These suitcase shorten the L by 2" and it may not seem like a lot in numbers, but it sure makes A LOT of difference when packing your stuff. I searched all over the internet and there is one more the same and it is the exact same problem. Also note, the front part that opens up, is very very flimsy. I'm used to swinging my suit case open, but if it stuck to the zipper that opens the middle part, you could rip it off if possible.

Está muy bonita. Tamaño perfecto para llevar en cabina. Muy resistente y muy práctica con eso de que se abre de arriba y tiene el compartimento para la computadora. El color no es blanco blanco, es muy ligeramente gris.

持ち手が広いキャリーケースが品切れで探していたから助かった。 ホテルで開ける時に半分に開かないため、場所を取らずに出し入れでき、国内での移動には最適な大きさだった。

Worth to have it for a short and long trip

Both these cases have just come back from a trip and they both worked really well. They are sturdy and quite light when packed to capacity. Thank you
