Excellent Quality, Performance and Zen Design!
This unit heats 600 ml of water in about 4 minutes using only 0.04 kwh. EXTREMELY energy efficient and plenty fast! Also, this unit uses just under 600 watts and CAN operate without any problems on a Jackery 500 power supply which is good to know for campers or van life. At first I was discouraged by the little silicon seal around top smelling like plastic, BUT if you follow the directions and boil it a few times in the kettle (add a few tea leaves!) the odor cooks off. The silicon is needed only to keep the lid from flopping off when pouring the last few drop. I found it was a bit of a tight fit which is not really necessary so I trimmed a bit off to make it easier to pull off top and see no ill effects from it. The body of the kettle holds heat fairly well and I use it for gong fu brewing of sencha and prefer it not to be too hot anyway, but a touch of the button will restore boil immediately if you like. This is an excellent kettle, very compact and efficient and is now my favorite kettle and works great when camping in my Prius. BTW, it pours very well and works for the gong fu method even though no goose neck which is a liability when camping or brewing in small space. Highly recommend. This was the answer to having one with a lower watt draw to take the load of the inverter I use and not blow fuses etc. I added a thermometer in lid marked at 180 F so I don't have to guess about right temp for my tea since I prefer not to use boiling water for brewing. BTW, it has a bigger sister sold on Amazon on sellers store that also is same 600 watt draw, and it is seafoam green. The larger one has an all metal lid which I prefer, but it is just my personal preference to have the black.

Sleek unit and works fast!
Exactly what I wanted. I make an oversized 12+ oz cup of tea each evening and occasionally throughout the day. This is quick, small (so it fits on my coffee bar with other units) and is sleek. takes about 2-3 min to heat which is same as when I microwaved water before. Love the design. And no leakage when I pour.

Practically Perfect water pot.
Perfect little water pot that is creatively designed. Great how it lifts off the circular base, and how the cord can be manually retracted into the base. Heats water quickly and uses only half the electricity of a microwave oven. I chose the smallest due to limited storage, but other sizes are available. Large handle is always cool. I use primarily for pour over coffee and the spout is well designed to control water flow. Looks sharp.

Can't Set The House on Fire !
Love this teakettle! We have a gas stove and my wife drinks a lot of tea. Multiple times a day the stove got turned on, and occasionally forgotten. We had a teakettle that got left on the stove and it was there so long the handle got charred. I bought a whistling teakettle which at least alerted us when it was ready, but we still had to turn on the stove multiple times a day, which just heated up the kitchen in the summer, and also wasted a lot of water heating more than she needed. Then we got this kettle. It heats in a couple minutes and shuts off automatically. It holds about 18 oz of water so just enough for a large cup of tea. The inside is stainless steel and easy to clean. It's not fancy looking, but it is the perfect tool for the job.

Good overall
Compact, lightweight, and gets me the hot water I need for my tea when I'm at work or traveling. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the power cable is short and the kettle is much slower to boil a similar amount of water (compared to my larger electric kettle). That said, I'm still quite happy with my purchase.

Portable and sturdy
We bought this as our portable hot-pot. We travel a lot and many of the people we visit do not have a hot-pot (horrors!), so we bring this along with us. We had a different one, with an attached lid, which eventually broke. This lid can pull off and on, so it is not going to break that way. The pot is very solid, and has worked quite well for a few months now. Works very well when you want to brew up your own tea on the go.

My little travel companion
I feel like Sbucks has gotten worse over the years, and I was tired of paying over $4 for a cup of coffee when traveling and getting crap coffee... so I decided to get this and couldn't be more pleased. Whether you want instant coffee packs or want to go all in with an Aeropress like me - it is perfect. The Aeropress traveller fits inside the water chamber, so I have my cup, filters, stir stick and the Aeropress all together with the water heater. If you wanted to use preground coffee - you can ever store some of that inside the Aeropress tube. I use beans and just take a bag or buy a bag at my destination if flying somewhere. Combined with my Wheroamoz grinder this is a perfect travel combo. It has honestly save me so much $$ and from drinking bad coffee that has been sitting around getting burnt. If you have never used an Aeropress it is really simple to use, takes less than 5 min to make a great, flavorful cup of coffee and clean up is easy. This water heater is quick and holds the perfect volume for this system.

Perfect little kettle
Perfect to heat water for hot tea and other hot drinks. Perfect size for standard or larger mugs. I use a small amount of white vinegar to rinse after use to prevent hard mi real build up. Hundreds of uses and still looks brand new.
