Offset Oxygen Sensor Socket, 3/8-Inch Drive, 7/8-Inch (22mm), Wire Gate Accesses Sensor from Side, Preventing Damage to Wires, Universal for Most Cars

Does what this is supposed to do, remove an oxygen sensor. Had a challenging but not difficult spot on my Toyota Highlander to get some leverage on a 22 year old bank 1 sensor 1 position. It's accessible, visible but not much room to turn the socket with anything that can provide any sort of leverage without the handle hitting the subframe or steering rack. An 1/4 turn at a time until the sensor was about 90% spun out due to rust. Using my usual deep oxygen sensor socket would put lateral pressure on the sensor when twisting it and I didn't want to crack the sensor. With this short socket, it puts pressure just on the sensor hex and will take a lot if 1/4 turns because of the crows foot design. Price is totally affordable and seems sturdy enough. Recommended as a back up in any one's toolbox.

Works as advertised. Correct fit for a 22 mm hex. I used mine to remove a NOX sensor on a Duramax diesel engine. The sensor was pretty stuck, but this socket worked fine and did not slip. Not all of these style wrenches on Amazon fit properly. This one does.

So far so great to be honest, does exactly the job it’s needed for. But this type of tool needs to be reviewed long down the light. For a product like this it’s all about the edges holding up and not slipping when trying to take off 02 sensors. As some can wear out and strip. But brand new out the box this one works great! And I would say the price point of it is fair!

It's crazy. The amount of times that this tool has come in handy. It is completely functional. The quality is unbelievable. I mean, I have kicked it around banged it around. It is dropped in between the car. It has gotten stuck on apart. I've had to actually cut portions off of a car because it got totally jammed. But nothing got damage on that. And it's a beautiful fit like very easy tool to use much easier than the regular. Socket, the offset one is very nice. It's a great value for your money. It makes your time a lot speedier. And it fits the sensors perfect. So the functionality Is absolutely amazing

Will fit on downstream O2 sensor. WILL NOT FIT on the up steam (top) O2 sensor. The socket is too large to fit in the silver plate protecting the O2 sensor.

I purchased this offset oxygen sensor socket (3/8-inch drive) to replace an O2 sensor, and it worked exactly as needed. Works Great

I had to swap out an oxygen sensor recently and decided to just grab this offset socket instead of struggling with a regular wrench. Honestly, it made the job 10x easier and was well worth the few bucks. The best part is that side gate/slot, it lets you get right on the sensor without worrying about crushing or tangling the wires, which is usually the biggest headache. It’s super easy to use with a standard 3/8 drive and the offset design gives you that extra leverage you need for those sensors that are stuck on there tight. It feels plenty durable and didn’t slip or flex at all while I was cranking on it. If you’re doing this job yourself, just get it, it saves a ton of frustration and paid for itself in about five minutes.
