Harry Potter Hogwart's Express (4841)

I may be 18, but I fricken love these Legos!! I wanted this one so badly, but couldn't find it cheap enough in stores or it would be sold out. Needless to say, Legos are expensive, but this is totally worth the price for any reason. I bought mine purely for the enjoyment and I love Harry Potter (I mean, who doesn't?). I ordered mine, and it came super fast. My only complaint is to, 1: The mailman for denting and practically destroying my box, and 2: Lego for forgetting to put the second bottom piece into the box. However, Lego was super nice about it and sent me TWO of the pieces I was missing for free. If you order this set, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend it, and overall it was a fantastic buy!!

Some parts missing

This is the quintessential Harry Potter LEGO product, as the Hogwarts Express is featured in nearly all the books and movies AND the kit includes five key minifig characters (Harry, Ron, Ginny, Draco & Luna). Too bad it was only available from LEGO for a limited time and can now only be found @ 3x the original price. There are several suprising features, with several opening doors / hiden compartments that were unexpected. There is one odd (for LEGO) mechanical issue, in that the train wheel-sets bind slightly on the undercarridge of the cars when moving laterelly. Overall this kit met met my expectations and made the ultimate recipient (as a gift) happy

Bought this for my 6 year old grandson even though the age range was 8-14. It was amazing to watch him sit down, follow the directions one step at a time, keep the pieces organized, and assemble the castle. The finished castle has wonderful details. His friends think he is amazing. That is great for a 6 year old. Love the Legos.

Description said this is a new set. Bags were sealed and I think everything is there but the box looked like it had been folded in half and was beat up. Very disappointing to spend this much for a supposedly new set. Seller should have been up front about the condition of the item.

I wouldn't use this for playing, since the magnets that connect the train cars are entirely too weak (Pulling it across my table was a problem), but it's still a great decoration piece, and it looks really neat! It took me a dedicated six hours (A couple of hours a night for three nights) to get it done, and the final size was about two feet for the train and a little Ford Angila big enough for two figures and a suitcase. I put Ginny and Draco in my Angila and Luna Lovegood is the train engineer. I think it's the best Lego Harry Potter product on the market, until Diagon Alley comes out.

My son wanted this set from Santa SO BAD, but I found it to be discontinued. I'm so happy I found it on Amazon, and watched it for a while so it could go down in price. He's a huge lego AND Harry Potter fan so this made him super happy. I love how it could truly be placed on some tracks, and I love the look of the blue magic car. Lego's are always so expensive, but in this case I do feel like it was worth it.

Got this toy for our 5 year old grandson. We had fun spending time together constructing it. He's a big Harry Potter fan and I'm sure he'll spend hours playing with it and the castle set he received for Christmas. Quick delivery as promised.
