Superior Lighting LED Dusk to Dawn Light - Brightest on Amazon - Upgraded 80 Watt - 12,000 Lumens! - Perfect for use as an LED Yard Light, LED Barn Light or LED Security Light

Bought this unit to replace the CFL unit we had as our yard light, found the unit pretty well built, pretty heavy, did find a small crack in the housing that looked like they tried to fix it but it was located in a non critical area so it presented no concerns but worth mentioning. The lens cover worries me as to whether it is weather tight seeing as I didn’t see a gasket or sealant of any type, once again worth mentioning but not really a concern but only time will tell. Installing was very easy, real quick. Light has been working perfectly for weeks now, and boy is it bright, real bright, our older CFL yard light cannot compare:) The true test will be this winter when we drop below 30 below zero, the older CFL would not come on and we’d have no yard light again until the temp went above 20 degrees, so we are hoping that this unit will stay lit all winter. All in all a real quality built light, so far it’s working great, our electric company suggested this light for us so kudos to them. So if you want an easy to install light that has a very bright white light this one is for you, worth every penny!

My parents have a farm that was so dark at night. They had some motion lights that would come on if you got close enough to them, but they turned off within 15 seconds and it was dark again. They needed something that would light up the farm and make it look like people actually live there. I chose this light when I read it put out up to 10,000 lumens. It was the most powerful barn light I could find and I am so pleased I went with it! The building it went on had an incandescent light that had burned out for several years. I wanted to replace the light with a no-nonsense dusk to dawn light that could be installed and I wouldn't have to worry about it for years! The light it replaced is over 25 feet above the ground, so I had to have a professional electrician install it. The result is there is truly a flood of light! The front of the building the light is attached to lights up the area at least 50 feet to its left and 50 feet to its right and 75 to 100 feet in front. I am truly pleased with how it has brightened up the area. The construction of the metal housing for the light is solid and looks so much better than the 7000 lumen light that had a rougher less smooth finish to the outside of the housing. I give it a solid 5 stars out of 5!

My electrician was very pleased with the quality of this light fixtures. I purchased 2 of them. I used one to replace a 250 Watt Sodium Vapor lignt. I thought the new LED light would put out less light. When it came on the first time, I was amazed! It gives out a bright white light (like daylight). Plus, the light casts out farther than the sodium vapor did. I had the second one put the barn (on the other side of the yard). Between the 2 of them, they light up my acre yard. From what the electician told me, the cost of operating the 2 lights will be less than what it was operating the old sodium vapor light. I hope this information helps you.

I bought this light in April 2020, worked flawless for almost a year and it developed an intermittent problem. I reported this to the company and they shipped me a replacement right away and the replacement has worked perfectly since arrival. Great light and a great company. Highly recommended and would buy again.

This light replaced a 175 watt security light. It did not fit on the mount pole of the old light. The provided mounting clamp is flimsy by comparison. If I completed this install again I would investigate a better clamp than the one provided by the manufacturer for pole mount installation. If you used the clamp provided, be careful not to spread it while you anchor it to the wall. The resultant installation is a bit wobbly and hard to get level. I may shim it, but from the ground it is not too noticeable that the light is pointing inward. I ran 12/0 wire through rubber conduit and threaded the conduit up the pole. I completed the connection and wrapped the wire nuts in electrical tape and stuffed them inside the mount pole, then clamped the light to the pole (this clamp mechanism worked well). Inside my building I used a weatherproof compression fitting on the rubber conduit, and entered the junction box from underneath to ensure no water can follow the conduit to the junction box. Overall, this was easy to install and I am happy with how bright it is.

Dusk to dawn lights were installed a year ago right along the ocean. They've been great through countless gales, rain and snowfalls here in Alaska. Great illumination. Sensors work great too. Highly recommended and easy to install. They haven't budged an inch since installation.

I thought that this luminaire was a great value for the price. It’s a lot of light in a small package. I leave for work at four in the morning and with no street lights. I now have piece of mind that I can exit my property in a secure manner. It is a simple install for those comfortable with electrical and mechanical tasks. I would buy again and recommend as a good residential solution.

I was very pleased with the light when I first installed it. It gave off plenty of bright light. A year after it was installed I started to have trouble getting it to come on. I would have to shut off the breaker to the light, let it sit for 15 minutes, then turn the breaker back on and it would light. It became more and more frequent, until now it won't come on at all. I changed the photoeye, but no change. The light is less than 2 years old. Not built with quality!
