These are awesome. The quality is superb. The velcro is strong. The double straps keep the weights secure and in place. The sand bags so no shift and slide which is so annoying when working out. Love these.

This adjustable ankle weight is great quality and exactly what I need!

I really liked the idea of these ankle weights because you can adjust the weight without buying several different pairs. Being able to remove the individual sandbags seemed like a great feature and was one of the main reasons I purchased them. Unfortunately, once you remove some of the sandbags to use a lighter weight, the ankle wrap loses its structure. The empty sections tend to flop around, which makes the weight feel uneven and off balance around your ankle. Even when I tightened the strap as much as I could, it still felt awkward to wear. I still like the concept and the flexibility of having several weight options in one pair, but I wish the ankle wrap stayed secure and balanced no matter how many sandbags you used. For me, that design issue brings these down to 4 stars.

Update bottom- I saw the size but it didn't register in my head they were that tall. I am still on weight 2-4 lbs of 10 lbs per leg but have tried using it with all 10 lbs per leg and just toddle around the house. My arms handle carrying them around flat better then wearing them wrapped around my ankles. They are quite cumbersome to put on, I have problems pulling the weights out of the pockets and putting them back in because of the tight fabric is but they need that space to be tight or they would lose stability. I don't use them as much as my dumbbells because they are a challenge to put on at the moment but as I get stronger they should be easier. I use them for squats a lot, resting flat in my arms and wrapped around my ankles when I need to make my cardio harder for a day. I have tossed both over my shoulder and walked around the house with them. My level of exercise is beginner strength training, step platform cardio and can bike for hours on higher levels on my exercise bike. I do wish I had bought the smaller 10 lbs pair set first and worked my way up. They are well made and very durable. Velcro is strong. Had them for three months now, used for two months. P.S. do not suggest using while on a bike. Objects in motion tend to want to stay in motion and gravity works well. Update: I purchased a smaller 10 lb pair and have used them for almost a month. I really like using them better because it they are *smaller* and lighter than the 20lb pair. I kept the 20lb pair because I still use them for squats and other exercises. The velcro and fabric are still holding up great. I turned my review from 4 stars to 5.

Really super simple to use. Makes great home physical therapy. I bought the blue ones and they're really nice.

Great weights for leg day or everyday activities. I enjoy wearing them because they are comfortable. No leakage from the weights the size could be smaller for a more compact and tighter fit, but it isn't bad

Very well made weights. I needed weights to help strengthen my back and hips...these were perfect and helped me slowly increase my counts and repetitions. Feeling much stronger and less pain. Thanks.

I like the fact that the weights are adjustable. However, I am unable to adjust them comfortably to fit my ankle. They are too big!! I’m going to try wrapping a small towel around my leg first

Other products are either non-adjustable or adjustable with 5 lb max per a single leg and each small pack having a weight of 1 lb so the min weight per leg is 1 lb and the step is 1 lb. So I was pretty happy to find this one which allows many more variations. I bought 2.5 lb max, 0.5 lb each pack option, which will allow me finer tuning, more uniform distribution of the small weight and overall more compact design. Now my 5 lb max ankle weights, another product which I probably bought by mistake, will probably go to a garbage bin. It is adjustable, I can use it with a single 1 lb weight, I can even tinker the weights and create a 0.5 lb or even 0.25 lb weight myself, but I still find using that much less convenient.

The fabric and construction are substantially done. Seems like heavy black canvass. They will work well and last long. The one pound weights are packaged lead shot, I assume, and fit into strong fabric slots around the ankle bands of the same strong fabric construction. You can easily select what weight you want to work with by removing or adding the packaged weights. For an old guy like me, I've used weights most of my life, these are the best strap-on weights I've ever bought. You younger guys are very fortunate for the equipment now available. I began weight lifting using rock slabs and the family heavy duty encyclopedia/dictionary set. In those days I was really into heavy literature.

I love these weights and they are easy to use and quite effective. My only concern would be for those who have smaller ankles. I have a tendency to have swelling occasionally with both my ankles and found although they tended to stay in place, when the swelling was not present, I had to tighten them up quite a bit and they moved a bit but are still wonderful weights.

I bought these to use while doing leg lifts. I purchased the 12lb (6lb each). I'm a small woman and I took one of the weight packets out and they still fit around my ankles. If I wanted to take more than one weight packet out they would be too big for my ankles but I didn't have any intention of taking more than one out so it works for me. They definitely can't be used around my wrists as mine are too small. The velcro is great quality and the strap is extra long. They are big and bulky but that was expected with the weight I purchased. Overall I'm quite happy with them.
