I've never welded in my life. A quick read through the instructions, a little watch of YouTube, 15 minutes of messing around on some scrap steel and I had something that resembled a weld. I think, with some practice I'll be able to do some welds I can trust.

Very good out of the box a couple of menu selections to make and your welding. If you can measure the thickness of your job and read what's written on your rods. Your glueing stuff together.

This compact welding machine arrived in a sturdy cardboard box. As well as the welder the case also contains a chipping hammer/wire brush, 5 welding rods and instructions for use. There is no safety equipment supplied (e.g. gloves, welding mask etc.) so you will have to source your own as this equipment is vital when welding. As well as basic arc welding the machine is capable of Lift TIG welding but the torch to do this must be purchased separately. It’s small enough to be easily portable. The 3pin UK plug lead is 120cm long and the earth and electrode leads are both 150cm. The display is clear enough to be seen without raising my auto darkening helmet and it’s easy to see which mode you’re in and what amperage you’re using. A very useful feature for beginners (like me) is that as the amperage is changed there is also a metal thickness indicator that changes with it making it easy to set the correct power for the job in hand (see video). The main power switch on the back switches the machine on. The fan keeps running for a while after the machine is switched off to cool it down. I’ve done a little bit of arc welding in the past but I’m really a novice and so far I’ve only used this to do some small repairs on metal gates and a couple of spot welds. I found the machine simple and easy to use and the results were good. I’m sure a professional welder would regard this machine as not much more than a toy but for small DIY tasks and spot welds it does a very good job. This is a very good machine for DIY welding but at £99.99 it’s more expensive than a lot of ‘mini’ welders available on Amazon and some of these are provided with more equipment so because of this it loses a star.

I have a friend who can weld and has more pro style equipment, he lent ne one if his welding masks and gloves, gave me some tips and I cracked on trying to teach myself, calling him occasionally or visiting the oracle called Google. I really cannot believe how this great machine was available at its price and has now reduced by 30 quid. So far in only practicing but am learning how make welds look better, have full welds and stopping the sticks from sticking. The crystal clear display gives many setting options to help with these things even though I'm learning through trial and error and Google research. The equipment in my opinion is well made, appears robust and delivers on its promises. Now at a crazy price of 70 quid it really is a no brainer for someone wanting to dip their toe's into world if welding. Yes I have lots to learn about it's true complete capabilities but so far it has gone way beyond my expectations.

I've had a chance to use this mini stick welder, and for someone like myself who I'd consider a pro DIYer, it's been great. I've already used it to fix a garden gate, and with that one job, it has paid for itself already. I found it very easy to use, particularly as it runs from a standard plug, which is very convenient. My only minor point would be that it's a shame the TIG torch wasn't included with the kit.

This welder is actually tiny, which is excellent for storage as I'm actually going to be able to fit it into my existing trolly. The build quality looks good, the earth and stick clamps feel sturdy and well sprung, and the leads connect securely into their mini Euro fittings. The modes are easy to cycle through and adjust with the push to select rotary encoder. It welds great, both with the 2mm rods it came with and the 2.5mm rods I already had. If I crank the power up to 200A it trips my breaker (10A currently I think) after a few seconds of welding, but at 150A it seems good. I think a 13A or 16A breaker would be good for welding thicker stock. I have a lift TIG torch that fits this so gave that a try as well and it works great, so good marks all round. I've actually got no complaints, I think for the compactness and features it's a great value little welder.

Un pequeño soldador pero extraordinario en su actuaciòn. La gran sorpresa en los ultimos años en esta materia. Muy recomendable.

Premetto che non sono un saldatore ma da neofita devo dire che sono soddisfatto. la macchina e stata imballata bene la pinza un po' rustica ma fa il suo lavoro. invece la pinza del elettrodo devo dire che e ben fatta.nella confezione ho trovato degli elettori e il libretto d istruzioni che non spiega bene anzi veramente poco su come si usa ma questo lo sapevo dalle altre recensioni .ho scelto questa mini saldatrice vedendo dei video recensioni e mi e sembrato una valida macchina e li .ho visto i vari settaggi e le impostazioni a parte che con un po' di ricerche puoi trovare tutto nel web .provata stamattina e devo dire soddistaffi scegliendo delle impostazioni che ti aiutano a fare innescare l elettrodo e non a farlo attaccare ho provato la macchina con dei ruttili acquistati da parte 2.5 6013 a 130 apere e l elettrodo ha fatto il suo lavoro.la ventola un po' rumorosa ma meglio che raffreddi altri potrebbero dire 130 per un 2.5 è troppo ma è la prima volta che la uso e non ho settato la saldatrice nel miglior modo ma volevo usarla perché dovevo saldare un tavolo in ferro ed è andato tutto bene per ora .vediamo quanto durerà

ça y est, j'ai soudé facilement des barres métalliques entre elles. Bien sûr, je ne suis pas encore professionnel du soudage (mais j'y travaille) et donc ce n'est pas hyper esthétique, mais c'est solide.

Acheter a presque moitié prix d'occasion, mais en effet le produit et arrive bien emballé et neuf aucun tracé d'utilisation, cet parfait utilisée a la réception, ultra efficace petit mais très puissant soles inconvénients le câble un peu court ,pas très gênant pour moi bref excellent, je recommande vivement cet produit
