RUITOOL Japanese Hand Saw 6 Inch Double Edge Pull Saw

I have 2 of these and I absolutely love both of them. I keep one at the house for my projects there and the other I keep in the truck because you never know when you’re going to see a fallen tree you can use. This saw cuts smoothly and with very little effort due to it being so sharp. I love this saw and would buy again no questions asked. Fyi I have had this saw at least a year and it’s still as sharp as the day I bought it and I’ve not sharpened it at all and have used it several times.

This is my second saw from Ruitool. This time, I've decided to try the "knife" style which is great for cutting up close dowels: since there's no blade on top, there are much less surface scratching. It is super light, and length is appropriate for small jobs. The wooden handle is comfortable and easy to drive. Cuts have been very clean, however, brittle material might need some post sanding. Just remember that Japanese saw cuts when pulling. If first time like me, there might be some adjustments to the cutting technique. Overall, a great value for the money.

I've tried quite a few Japanese pulling saws, and this one does indeed save as much effort as it describes, and I'm exploring why this structure saves more effort. Unlike the traditional Ryoba Saw, who only has one side for cutting and can't achieve both horizontal and vertical cuts, I tried cutting hardwood and it worked perfectly! I just tried flush cut once and the result satisfied me. If you are a professional Japanesesaw enthusiast, then I would suggest you to choose Ryoba Saw, which will take better cuts for different woods. But this saw would make me enjoy woodworking more, cutting is really easier and I'm sure everyone wouldn't mind having one of these in their toolbox, you may not know when you'll need it.You will definitely be useful when you need it, highly recommended!Especially at this price!

I bought this to make some simple frames for my paintings at home. It slices through the wood wothout splintering anything and works really fast. I used a hacksaw before that, and this one is so much better. 🥰

If you have not used a Japanese saw before, then stop reading to buy it. This is my second time using a similar saw, my first one had a blade size of 6'' and was used more for Flush cut. I really enjoy the cut and the level of labor saving that Ruitool's Japanese saw brings. I realized I needed a longer saw to meet my cutting needs so I purchased this one. Both Rip-cut and Cross-cut are possible with the teeth on both sides, and for me one side is faster and the other is less labor intensive. Of course it is not necessary, but I think both novice and experienced woodworkers will need such a saw in the toolbox. And you'll find you use it progressively more often. Highly recommended!

I have a couple of hand saws that are made in Japan and they are very good. This one surpasses the other saws. I am 76 yrs old and have arthritis too so this saw helps me a lot because it hardly takes any strength or effort. It is extremely sharp and it fold down neatly into its handle. This is one saw everyone should keep. It is a real time saver.

I don't usually write reviews of Chinese made tools. Usually they are not good value. But this saw is designed in Japan and they know wood working tools. My rating pertains to a very limited use which is separating neck and tail blocks of acoustic guitars. Of the 8 no kerf small blade saws I have tried, this is the most useful because the blade is thicker. This saw would be great for other purposes, but I have not used it in those conditions.
