Here is my honest thoughts about this. Layout: The the Dominator's button location is a little bit of a weird position and kind of hard to use and how you have to press it. For me and my hands at least and I've been told i have large hands. But i highly recommend getting the eliminator instead just for the simple fact that the buttons are in a rather natural hand/finger placements. Easiest way to map the paddles/buttons is to hook it up to your laptop/computer and do it from there. Pretty simple once you get the hang of it. Paddles do feel kind of cheapish but i didn't expect something high grade. But comparing to buying a $200 elite series 2 controller that has its own flaws (Stick drift, Buttons sticking, etc) This is a wonderful cheaper alternative and in my opinion it works just as well. but again i would go with the eliminator and not dominator. Mods: Yes they work and they work as intended. I know a lot of people "Say" they don't use them but lets be honest. But you really need to pay attention how to navigate through it. I've seen where people say they don't work but really its something you have to understand and take time learning how to modify and reading the instructions given to you because it will explain. Its not something you just hook up and go (it can be once you set it up the way you like it.). If the strike pack is NOT turning on like how the instructions state, just unplug/re-plug the power cord from the controller and retry. I have to do this each time at first start up. Over all I love it and have been using it going on a month now and i haven't had no problems with it. UPDATE 5/2/2024: Strike pack is still feeling solid with no complaints.

I bought this to use with playing Destiny 2 on Xbox. Was definitely a learning curve using the mod pack as there are a lot of features. Using it right out of the box was fine but down loading mod pass and buying the subscription for $14 per year and installing the Destiny 2 game pack really took it to another level. The game pack did everything I was looking for. But it does have some problems to be aware of. You have to unplug and replug the controller wire everytime you boot the console up to play for the game pack to work. Occasionally the controller will suddenly stop working right in the middle of playing. While using the 180 spin the controller stopped responding spinning me 360 degrees non stop. Unplugging and reconnecting wire fixes the problem. Does not happen a lot to the point where I won't still use it just annoying. Hopefully they will have a firmware update s in the future to fix some of the problems. The mod pass app is easy to use and it took me some time to learn all the short cuts and changing the setting with the controller but now that I have used it for a while it is getting easier to remember. Would have gave it 5 stars if it didn't have the in game glitches and will still recommend it. Update: shortly after writing this review I went to use the mod pack and it just quit working could not get it to go in mod mode. I am really trying not to dislike this product but the constant problems is making it hard to keep wanting to use it. After chatting with Amazon customer support they are sending me a new one and if that one quits working I'm going to just get a refund. I'm going to give a second chance I may have just got a defective one. When everything is working it is amazing. I have to say Amazon customer service is amazing and I really appreciate them. Great job Amazon!!!!

it was rlly good

Very disappointing. Don't buy. Comes with a compatibility cover but the tabs don't match up. & the actual product doesn't fit smoothly in the battery area once you use the conversion cover. My son has an Xbox series S. I had to saw off the tabs that connect to the converter & duct tape the product to the controller so it would stay in the battery area, or it would keep falling off. Even wity the converter cover it didn't all fit correctly. I should have returned it but my son destroyed the box opening it & insisted wanting to Jerry rig it to work.

The paddles were in an uncomfortable place but other wise they worked well. The anti-recoil worked ok u still need to control it and for some reason it would not let me change the mode to the other ones. I don’t recommend this product and if you are getting one for Xbox get a different and more modern version.
