I have a long 2nd toe just like the Statue of Liberty! It has given me problems for decades and I have worn a spacer between it and my big toe for years. But now it has become a hammer toe and it was painful to walk. I have tried a couple of items from this website but nothing helped until I got these tubes. Finally I am pain free. I find it helps to cut the tubes so they extend a little bit beyond the end of the toe to protect it from my shoes. The only problem I find is that they are a little difficult to slide on my long toe, but still a good solution for me. Update almost a year later: Still love these tubes and my long second toe is noticeably straightened. I think I may even be able to wear sandals next summer. I also rub a little talcum powder on the inside surface every other day and they are much easier to put on.

I use these on the recommendation of a podiatrist. They help to reduce friction between toe joints and alleviate the problem of painful corns. Without these little tubes, walking any significant distance would be painful. Using these toe tubes as well as suitable footwear allows me to get around without much difficulty. Size is good. They can be trimmed with scissors to the right length. When putting them on, put a little Vaseline inside to help them slide onto the toes easily. They last quite a long time.

I turned it inside-out for use to relieve toe-corn chafing. That way the cloth material is on the skin and the silicone out. Either way these are the best reuseable idea I've found. Also, the silicon comes off with time, but the cloth-only that remains still works fine.

It did help until it didn’t. I don’t have fat toes, but the medium tube was soft and comfortable at the start, but quickly was just too tight, squeezing my toe into misery, I only lasted maybe an hour, tried several deviations and just couldn’t do it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My Mother in Law has a hammer toe and a bunion. The Dr, told her to get these and wear them on the hammer toe for comfort. She likes them well enough, and can cut them to the length she wants. They are hand washable so that's a plus for her in that she can reuse them for about a week or more depending on how many times we uses them. Purchased this product (DYKOOK cuttable toe sleeves) and not only are they NOT true to size but more dangerously, they do NOT tell you that if you have diabetes, that you should not use them. They don't show you the BACK of the package where it states this. Only the front of the package is shown when you order. So, how are you to know? I checked out the item description before ordering & there was nothing there to warn you. I received them, cut them to size and tried them on. Within 6 hours my toe was THROBBING. Because of the silicone lining, no air gets through. THEN I TURNED OVER THE PACKAGE. There it was. Do not use them if you're diabetic. Buyer beware.

These work! And thank goodness they do! Oh my word! Seems like the simplest thing can sometimes be so comforting. Not often enough that happens but this is one of those things. They can be washed too so you'll get many uses out of each cot. When I developed cellulitis from being on my feet non stop during a move to another city, I had a nasty, painful toe. These now are my go to when I know I will be on my feet or walking a lot. Gotta have them and they prevent a lot of misery and possibly far bigger problems.
