I'm very impressed with the quality of this micro light and with its light output. It's perfect for keychains. It came with a soft white cap that goes over the light and turns it into a lantern. I was surprised at how well it worked. Plus when you take the cap off it glows green so you won't misplace it. My light came with 6 extra batteries. For everything you get for the price I think it's a pretty good deal. My wife liked it so much she asked for one herself.

While the light is bright and compact, the mounting hardware is too bulky and different from the chain that is pictured. I plan on attaching the light to my car keys which I carry in my pocket. While the mounting hardware is sturdy, the additional volume in my pocket is not ideal.

II was disappointed with earlier purchases until I found this item. It is amazing with a very strong light for such a small flashlight. And, it even comes with a large supply of batteries. Excellent-- I recommend it highly.

The Nitefox E3 Mini Keychain Flashlight has become one of the handiest tools I carry. I work in an automotive shop, so having reliable light within reach is essential — this little powerhouse lives on my key ring and is always ready when I need it. Because of its size, I expected just a small amount of illumination. I was completely mistaken. This flashlight is impressively bright and covers far more area than I ever anticipated. It’s durable, convenient, and incredibly useful for quick inspections or finding dropped items in tight spaces. I’ve been asked many times where I bought it — that alone says a lot. Trust me, you can’t go wrong with this one.

It's bright - too bright if you're looking right at it by accident. I did want more light to use it for a flashlight on a walking surface, but have to keep a double piece of painters tape over it for ordinary use. I was annoyed with my previous keychain-size flashlight for being too dim at just 8 lumens (and for turning on at random), but I need either two light levels or something between the two in power. The reason for 2 stars though is that I've had it on my lanyard for 2.5 months and it's fallen completely apart 3 times just from bumping around with my keys all the time. Fortunately I found all the parts each time so far, but twice I nearly lost them for good because I was walking when it happened and they scatter and roll. It's not really an improvement. And it also turns on at random, now that I'm trying harder to keep it as screwed closed as possible without actually being on. It is not an improvement over my old one except by being brighter, but still not the perfect solution.
