Great Mouthwash
I've been using this for years and have tried others but always come back to Dentyl, mint being my favourite. Unlike some well known brands which are often advertised this doesn't contain alcohol which I think is essential especially if you mouthwash everyday... It seems to also work well when your throat starts to tickle, like you're getting a cold, it seems to head it off....The mint taste is great and the bottle is a nice shape to hold, just don't forget to give it a good shake.

CPC but strong taste that lasts quite long
We got this mouthwash as it is good as an extra layer of antiviral protection for things like flu and covid, however after using the flavor stays for a long time, and it changes the taste of food in a weird way. It makes things taste much sweeter than they are. I would not recommend if your intention is to use after coming back from the “outside” world and you plan to still have dinner or something, but for before bed, and after breakfast it is alright.

Works well and taste is fine.
Love this and does a great job Pleasant taste and even after brushing with toothpaste, after rinsing with Dentyl you do see a little more debris in the sink...so do feel its doing what it says.

Yes, It's (Maybe) Effective -- But Price More Than Doubled in a Year!!😲
Rather than continuing with Corsodyl (or its chlorhexidine-containing alternatives, recommended by one of my doctors years ago) or even Listerine (still market-leader, but prefer the Mint version), I switched to a "Subscribe & Save" for this Dentyl Mint mouthwash in September 2023. I'd used Dentyl years before. The price in September 2023 was just £1.88 for a 500ml bottle (no initial discount)!😊 Now, September 2024, it is a whopping £3.80 (after measly 5% S&S discount)--more than DOUBLE!!😲 Over the year, I watched the price creep up every couple months. But even last month it stayed below that £3 barrier, at just £2.56 (after still measly 5% S&S discount). To jump by more than a third in one go is an OUTRAGEOUS PRICE INCREASE!😠 I checked around and, unfortunately, it seems the company has pushed up its RRP, so every seller is charging around the £4 range for a 500ml bottle.😞 So, is it actually *effective*? It doesn't contain chlorhexidine--that, I'd pay for. However, the "Smooth Mint"--milder by comparison to Listerine Regular--taste is great!👍 And, it's *much* better, IMHO, than their apparently unpopular, albeit often deeply discounted, Clove--which tastes nothing of "clove", neither the spice nor the full-on dental-pain home-remedy "clove liquid". A better taste means I'm more likely to use it regularly *and* leave it in my mouth longer. I'm old enough to remember Listerine's 1970s adverts with the tagline, "The taste people hate. Twice a day." Really? There are that many masochists?🤣 Well, now, Listerine also makes milder alternatives. It's also weirdly satisfying to see, in the sink afterward, how its "magical" chemical mix--incl. antimicrobial agent cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) and oily isopropyl myristate--bonds with plaque and whatever "stuff" that seems to grow at the back of my throat.😯 Nice gimmick, although it actually contains (and requires for effect) less CPC per volume than its chief perfume ingredient, limonene.🤨 However, yes, my breath does smell fresher.🤷♀️ Lastly, does it have enough fluoride to fend off tooth decay?🦷 Unlike a few other countries, the UK does *not* add fluoride to its (drinking) water--plenty of limescale though!😞 Doubtful. So, what has justified the sudden price hike? It's not "double-concentrate" or a larger volume. Frankly, it's just plain old PRICE-GOUGING,😠 apparently from the latest owner, Venture Life Group (since 2018 acquisition). Guess we're being charged for Venture's continuing aggressive global expansion (through acquisition) and ramped-up marketing campaigns.🤨 Bottom line: I'm shopping around for a replacement. Bye buy?👋😉 ...I'll update my review (again) after testing... Tip: Check major grocery chains for MUCH CHEAPER own-brand CPC alternatives *and* consider more effective chlorhexidine formulations!😉

This will leave a cloudy green cast on your teeth after use. It's worse if you have braces on as the residue will stick on them making your mouth look dirty.
