UPDATE! Gets Very HOT!
4/16/23- works extremely well in finding veins although the lights get very HOT when pressed against the skin after about 10 seconds. Maybe I have a defective unit but this has been my experience. I purchased this to help in getting ivs on young infants and toddlers but do not want to expose them to getting burned. Will update later but I've put this against my family's wrists to see if it would show their veins. So far so good! I work at a pediatric hospital and am hoping this helps with the difficult sticks.
