Great quality for the price. Such fun 2 year old and 5 year old have one each in different colours and love timing each other doing various things from running from here to there to timing teeth brushing.

A fully functional and easy to use stopwatch, but the alarm is extremely quiet! My original order was for the item to be in Yellow and I got it today in Orange. I would say that it is ideal for a visual quiet stopwatch, but not if you want to use it to alert you with its alarm.. You wouldn't hear it in a gym for sure!

This was literally the only way to stop this thing from beeping every hour on the hour, and even still I can still hear the faint beep from the bin downstairs. Either that, or I’m going mad from listening to it for the last 3 days! Instructions are terrible Build quality is rubbish Reminds you it’s still alive by beeping (loudly) every hour, and at random other points throughout the day (with no way to turn it off). And for those of you that love the sound of all the above, I doubt it will last a week as there’s no way to turn the screen off. Clever really, as you buy this POS for a fiver, bin it, then buy the slightly more expensive one bcos the screen turns off, and they specifically market it as “silent” Read the reviews people, save your self a fiver.

I bought this to time the amount of my life that students waste in my class while they pither about so I can claim it back during a break or lunchtime. It’s perfect for that as it has a satisfying beep that can be heard from my pocket, and it’s nice and bright when it comes out of my pocket for the big reveal.

If you're struggling to figure out how this stopwatch works — you're not alone. The instruction manual is poorly translated (clearly from Chinese), and it took me quite some time to understand everything. So here’s a simple guide. Main Time Screen When you first turn on the stopwatch, you’ll see the main time display. To identify this: On the left side of the screen, you’ll see AM/PM or A/P to indicate the time of day. Press the MODE button once to enter stopwatch mode. Press START/STOP to begin timing. Press START/STOP again to stop it. Press SPLIT/RESET to reset the stopwatch to zero. After it is stopped it won't reset if its still running. Alarm Setting Mode Press the MODE button a second time to enter the alarm setting mode. You’ll see a different time displayed — this is the alarm time, not the current time. Press START/STOP to increase the numbers (hours/minutes). Press SPLIT/RESET to switch between hours and minutes. How to Disable the Chime This was the most frustrating part — but here's how to stop the beeping/chime: 1. Hold the SPLIT/RESET button. On the main or first screen that displays normal time of the day. 2. While holding it, press the START/STOP button. 3. This combination disables the hourly chime (which goes off every 5 minutes or so if not turned off). Despite the terrible instructions, the stopwatch itself is quite good for the price. It’s affordable, works as expected once you understand the functions, and is a solid basic watch/stopwatch combo. Disabling the chime was the only thing that stopped me from returning the item as that was very annoying to figure out I hope this helps others save time and frustration that I went through.
