There’s a lot to like about these earbuds. In fact I purchased 2 pairs of A40. Great fit and comfort, good battery life, great sound, and their app is remarkable. It lets you set touch actions for volume, stop/start, skip, etc (single tap, double tap, triple tap and long tap controls for each earbud) and lets you endlessly calibrate the sound to get the most out of what you’re listening to. I typically shut off single tap to prevent inadvertent touches. I’ve tried at least 10 different earbud brands and these are definitely the best. My only issue is that they seem to last 12 months before I experience syncing issues, granted I wear them nearly daily and sync constantly between 3 devices. The main syncing issue is failure to disconnect from my phone after I put them in the case and shut the lid. Maybe I need to clean the contacts better, but I feel like they get a bit finicky. It can be annoying to have to manually disconnect them from my phone to unpair them. I can say that their customer service is legit and took care of me quickly after one of my pairs stopped working altogether after a year. They communicated via email promptly and after concluding they had in fact stopped working, they sent me a new pair. I was surprised that In 2026 there are still companies that care about their customers. Bravo. I have purchased at least 6 other Soundcore devices for my 3 daughters and my wife, headphones and earbuds. They are definitely the best sound for the money with solid noise canceling. Plus their app and customer service make it a no brainer for me.

I dont know why people say the sound quality is lacking when these are easily the most customizable ear buds I have ever owned. On android devices you can opt to use LDAC which is a Bluetooth codec that offers less compression to maintain higher quality audio. The compression between your device and the ear buds the better. You have full control of many default audio equalizer settings and you can create a dozen customized profiles you can switch to quickly. Through the Soundcore app you can give yourself a hearing test that takes 15 minutes and then the app will create a complete customized sound profile to balance sound against any deficiencies in your hearing range. Pretty amazing really. Sound cancellation is exceptional. Make sure you are using the proper ear bud tips so ambient noise isn't filtering in, the app can actually perform a fit test. You stay in a quiet room and perform the test. The ear buds play noises in a frequency you cant hear and uses the microphones on the outside of the buds to see how well the ear buds are sealing. Call quality is great and they do a great job of filtering ambient noise from your call so it remains clear on both ends. The touch controls are fully customizable from 1 and 2 taps or press and hold left or right and what function you want performed. Battery life is great with a constant 8 to 10 hours of life per charge and the case recharges the buds many time before needing charging itself. One of the best quality buds you can get with form and function at this price range.

EDIT (July 30): Unfortunately, the same thing is still happening in phone calls: my voice stops coming through for the person on the other end of the line after 7-10 minutes and I need to switch my mic from my headphones to my phone and back to the headphones again. I do like the size and quality of these earbuds so I'm going to keep them, but I probably won't purchase again. Full review below! EDIT (July 18): The seller provided me with a prompt replacement pair at no cost, which was really nice. The audio quality of calls/recordings seems to be much improved, and I so far do not have the issues with calls disconnecting. I will continue to use these and will update again if the same issues arise—but so far, so good! Bumped my review up to a four-star. THINGS I LOVE: I'm impressed with the sound quality, noise cancellation, comfort, and customizable touch commands on these earbuds. Of course the sound quality won't match top-of-the-line over-ear headphones and you won't get studio sound, but these are pretty darn solid in terms of sound quality. Crisp and full. I use these on the subway and the noise-cancelling is enough that I can keep the volume at a comfortable level—rather than cranking the volume up like I did on my old AirPods. There are multiple noise-cancelling modes and you can even turn noise-cancelling off if it freaks you out. Overall, I'm very happy with how these sound. They also come with every size of ear tips so you can get a snug but comfy fit. The intuitive accompanying app is not necessary, but I used it to customize touch commands to raise/lower volume, skip ahead or back, and play/pause. Really simple to use, and easy to create gestures that make sense for your use case. Battery life is pretty amazing too. I got these a few weeks ago, charged up the case, and haven't had to charge it again yet. These aren't my main headphones, but I've used them almost every day for walks, errands, exercise, and commuting. Very impressive battery life so far. They've also been pretty tolerant of exercise sweat, though I will say that they were acting possessed for an hour after getting sweaty. These were more comfortable and sound-immersive than my old AirPods for workout music, but my AirPods held up better to sweat. These still win for me in that category, though, because of the ANC and the fact that they didn't fall out of my head and go flying off the treadmill belt underneath me. So mostly, I love these. THE MAJOR PROBLEM, THOUGH: Now, the flaw—which would be a dealbreaker if these weren't only $60 and such a dream otherwise—THESE ARE UNUSABLE FOR CALLS. I actually CANNOT use them for phone calls. The audio quality sounds "underwater" as my friends and family put it over the phone, and my audio quality tests yield the same results. Even worse, they randomly stop sending my audio signal every seven or eight minutes. So I'll pick up the phone while out for a walk, talk with poor audio quality for a few minutes, and then the person on the other end of the line suddenly does the whole "Ohp, I think you cut out—you there? Hello? Can you hear me?" And I need to switch my audio source to my phone, then back to the headphones. This happens every few minutes for the entire call. It's such a pain that I can't put myself or phone friends through it anymore. I don't even talk on the phone often, but this is a big enough problem that I might have to replace these. One of the reasons I bought these was to have reliable earbuds for work calls and phone calls, but these don't work for those scenarios. It's really too bad, because these are SO GREAT (especially for the price) otherwise. NOTE: See my updated edit at the top of this review.

Editing my previous review, I bought this in november 2023, and loved the sound, but the batery seemed less, but i loved the sound so much tht i didnt return. After 3 month i posted a review, saying lovely sound but battery is less. I was contacted by seller saying we r sorry, and we would like to make it up to u, and we offer a ful refund. I responded tht i would prefer if u send me a new one if battery is more, they accepted immediately. I reutned the old unit without any shipping charges and a new space a40 reached me within 2 days. And i love not only love the sound, but the app customization options, now the battery is also more than +7 hrs continuous music, and charging speed is also fast. I compared these with soundpeats free 2 classic, soundpeats mini, soundpeats mini pro, soundpeats engine 4, jabra elite 7 pro, one plus evo, (yes i love collecting n enjoying alot of these.) and i can confidently say i can rank it almost at the top, in terms of sound and battery life. The best part is sellers concern, responsiveness and their confidence in their product and going out of the way to resolve a customer issue and thus winning respect and a returning customer. This was my first experience with soundcore but i m impressed n wil definitely buy again n recomend to everyone. Highly recomended

I lost my AirPods and wanted to buy a replacement without spending too much. Read glowing reviews online and went ahead and bought on Amazon.SG. Delivery was very quick, setting up was easy and works as promised. Noise cancellation is reasonably good too.

Me animo a escribir esta opinion tras una semana de uso. En general es un buen producto y creo que relaccion calidad-precio a dia de hoy muy recomendable. Su sonido es muy bueno y su app que te actualiza el firm la primera vez te hace un estudio de tus posibilidades auditivas y se adapta a ellas.Lo clava,lo digo porque me he hecho recientemente alguna prueba auditiva profesional. Tiene 3 niveles de reduccion de ruido y aunque creo que en este aspecto los JBL pueden ser mas efectivos,lo compensas con mejor sonido,siendo su ANC bastante decente. Y en este aaspecto soy exigente Mueve los controles muy bien y al toque y son configurables en el app. y estos se guardan para cuando tengas otro movil sin un android tan moderno o carente de la app. En definitiva,son muy buena opcion,y trae un amplio juego de almohadillas para adaptar a diversos oidos
