This is my favorite Ice maker of all time. It makes the good ice and it stays frozen as long as you keep the machine on. It's large while still fitting on your counter so it makes a lot of ice. It's also just a beautiful machine. We love the digital set up, the lights and how you can control it with an app on your phone. Very big upside is that it's self cleaning and tells you when to clean it!! It is so worth the price.

This is such a great ice maker for such a low price, my spouse and I absolutely love it and can't really go without it now. It works so well and makes ice so quickly. Easy to fill up and just easy in general. I love this thing. I've had it about a month now and use it all day every day and it still is working perfectly. It also came with a big sheet of cute/hilarious stickers, some of them have nothing to do with ice makers whatsoever but the brand must make other things besides this and just put a sticker sheet in anything they send lol, it's a cute touch though. We put one of the stickers on the machine and it looks like it belongs there. You do need to buy de-scaler/cleaner for it, the ice will start tasting weird if you don't clean it out and cycle some water through it afterwards. The only small complaint is that I wish there was a place to put the scoop, we just have to set it on our counter. At least it does stand upright, the end of the handle is flat so you can stand it up next to the machine. It would just be nice if there were a different spot on the machine for it to go. Other than that, I love this! It gets me drinking water wayyyy more than I usually would... I have a hard time drinking water if it's not cold and now that we have this I'm drinking ice water constantly. Oh, also the machine is a tiny bit on the loud side, I really don't mind though at all, it doesn't bother me. My spouse had been worried before it was delivered that it would be annoyingly loud and she says it doesn't bother her either, it's not as bothersome as she thought it would be.

I have been using this ice maker for over 4 months now and have had minimal issues with it. I live full time in an RV so freezer space is limited. I used to buy 7 lb bags and store in a chest freezer but I can’t do that now. This icemaker has been a lifesaver! I run it and put the ice in a gallon freezer bag to store. It makes ice fairly quickly and it’s relatively quiet while running. It has a drain on the bottom and I run white vinegar through it once in a while to keep it clean. I’ve never had any odors or algae in the ice. There are a few cons though. Main one is the ice is wet when it comes out of the machine. I grab it and shake the water off as best I can. When it goes in the freezer some of them clump together after a bit so I have to break it up. It takes a while to fill a freezer bag. I’d say a couple of hours and I have to be near enough to empty the tray. If I don’t it’s not a big deal because the machine stops when the tray is full but those wet cubes will stick together in a big clump. I just try to remember to empty before this happens and for me it’s not a big deal. When it runs out of water it also stops. When I see the red light I know to add water but it doesn’t just restart. You have to turn it off and back on to make more ice. That is a bit annoying. With having limited space in the RV having the smaller size gives me more room and it fits well in in the corner of my sink. I run it every day and it’s been very reliable. If it wasn’t for the wet ice and the adding water issue I would have given it 5 stars.

Owning the other model of this ice maker I can say that this upgrade was totally worth it. Ecozy really hit the mark with this one. While still making the same quality pellet ice, several of the issues I had with the previous model have been addressed. Not only was it a chore to add water to the other model, it seemed like I was adding water every time we took ice. With the removable tank, adding water is not only easier as you no longer need to remove the ice bucket but it's also less frequent because the tank holds close to 2 liters. The way the ice drops into the bin now, when the full light is on, it truly means the bin is full and not just time to redistribute the mountain of ice that builds up in the center. After turning on the ice maker in about an hour I have a full bin of ice without the ice shuffle every 10 minutes. Finally the extra insulation that comes from setting the ice bucket back a bit does allow the ice to melt more slowly. However that seems to cause the ice to block up a bit and requires a little chopping with the scoop to break it up after sitting for a bit. This doesn't seem to happen with the other one, but is not that big of a deal as it breaks up easily.

Really great option. Use it about 3 times a week to make a bunch of ice. Got it on Black Friday discount so not sure what it usually sells for. It is loud if that bothers you. Like if you were two rooms over with say TV on, can't hear it, but if you are in room next to it and no real ambient noise can definitely hear it.

Okay let me start with the whole idea of having a countertop ice maker sounds really cool! In reality it's just really not functional and is a gimmick! Don't get me wrong it will make ice within 6 to 7 minutes. But the quality of ice is lacking seriously! Even on the larger size Ice Cube it is very small! Smaller than the average normal Ice Cube! Along with that the Ice Cube comes out very very wet and not very frozen like a normal Ice Cube! Using the ice cubes will result in any drink to be deluded being that it melts very fast! Even if you have a beverage that has been in the refrigerator it melts quickly watering down your beverage! If you're going to use this ice for anything that has not been refrigerated beforehand it will melt immediately and leave you nothing but watered down or diluted beverage! As the basket gets slightly full the ice cubes at the bottom are literally melting away to nothing and the water from the melting is being recycled to make new ice cubes that are already melting coming out! I let the machine continue on to try to make a full basket of ice only to bag the ice to put in the freezer. That resulted in one big block of what looks like frozen melted ice being that the ice cubes are so wet coming out of the basket they all freeze together in one big block of ice! Yeah the concept seems really cool yet it's nothing more than a gimmick! Probably will be sending it back for a refund. Additionally the basket storage area is not well insulated so yes the ice melts even quicker being that it's not refrigerated or keeping cold! If you're intending to use these for alcoholic beverages probably not the best decision! If you're a bourbon or whiskey Drinker and like ice in your drink this will seriously water it down very very fast. That goes basically for anything you put this ice in even if it's been chilled or served at room temperature! I'm not all down on countertop ice makers yet I think one as this is is very cheap and you get what you pay for something that does not work very well at all! I would give it serious thinking to purchase this and waste your time resulting with wet ice and watered down beverage drinks! Oh yeah I live in Florida too and have my air conditioning on inside the house. So if you're going to use this Outdoors or in a warm house forget about it.

Love it, but wish that the size of the ice is bigger

I got this little ice machine for my kitchen a little while back, mainly because we were having friends over and I always seem to run out of ice. The box it came in was a decent size, and it fits neatly on my countertop without taking up too much space. It's got a sleek design, so it doesn't look out of place either. Setting it up was really simple, just add water and plug it in. The machine works surprisingly fast. I was a bit sceptical about the "9 cubes in 6 mins" claim, but it genuinely is that quick. It churns out a basket of ice in no time, which is brilliant if you need a lot in a hurry. You can also choose between two sizes of ice, which is a nice touch. I usually just stick to the larger size for drinks. The self-cleaning feature is also a massive win for me. It means a lot less hassle and scrubbing. What I really like about it is the sheer convenience. You don't have to remember to fill up ice trays, and you have a steady supply of fresh ice whenever you need it. It's been perfect for making iced coffees in the morning or for filling up a jug of water when it's warm. The ice cubes are nice and clear, and they don't have any strange flavours. Also, because the ice is just in the basket inside the machine, it will eventually melt if you don't transfer it to the freezer. So you can't just leave it to build up all day. More often than not, I forget to fill the ice cube trays and when I need ice, I have none. This changed that situation completely, now when I need ice, all I need to do is wait around 10min to get enough for the first drink, while a lot more is produced while I drink it. Comes with an ice bag too, that I filled with ice and put it in the freezer. Love it!
